Hi, Danica7. That there are many Craigslists prostitutes working in the area suggests that there are many clients; I can't believe that a single john could support them all. Moreover, law enforcement seems to agree that the serial killer is a sophisticated plotter. Hiring a working girl with a driver to come to your house and then allowing her to conduct a marathon 911 call in your livingroom doesn't seem to me to fit the bill. He put himself on the map; because he's the only name we have, he becomes an easy mark. I agree that he's sleezy, but I would be honestly astonished if he is the culprit.
 
Whoever this guy is, I feel he is very obsessive compulsive and very controlling. He is a neat freak--a place for everything and everything in its place. He plans his dump site carefully for somebody throwing bodies off a truck. He spaces them so he can keep track of them, make sure they haven't been discovered and probably gets a thrill out of having his private, secret graveyard. Therefore I feel he has to live close by. He is not a drifter, far from it. He also has money to plan his hobby so carefully, possibly renting freezer storage space and keeping a private place he can safely take his victims and money to hire prostitutes and buy them drugs. He is probably self-employed to have whatever time he needs to satisfy his obsession and cover his tracks. He is smart and proud of his work. By now he may want to get caught.
 
If this is the work of a single killer, he sure likes variety. Prostitutes, posing and ritualistic behavior, keeping souveniers, a baby victim, and now dismemberment? I'm still trying to figure out whether there were three bodies found today.

That truck has major towing capacity. What could he be towing to East Coast beach resorts? Boats? Large amounts of pool chemicals?

Maybe he's an EPA inspector?
A truck that size could carry a crew of 4-5 people.

Newsday says a source indicated the second four bodies were very different from the first four. Do we know more specifics? This might suggest a different method of killing. Certainly, there are no burlap sacks.
 
To me, the pic of the white truck looks like a double cab with a modified camper on the back and maybe solar panels on the top. I could swear I've seen things similar on a few survivalist and camper/rv living sites that I've visited. It looks like something a person rigged for themselves to travel around and live in and be able to get the internet and run a few appliances, and light with solar power. The camper looks too tall to be a regular camper or a work truck. It looks to have windows on the side and a camper that a person could stand in.

The London subway system and indeed the center of London are known for the amazing coverage of its video systems. Manhattan is not in the same league. And its transportation hubs are infinitely busier than small London subway stops.

I think that you're right about what would happen if an elite college undergraduate went missing, but in this instance, I honestly don't think that the case can be solved that way.

Hi, SuziQ. You're right. Serial killers are not your average guys, but this one does seems to be abnormally abnormal.

If forced to make a guess, I would imagine that the body parts come from separate bodies: The police just want to wait for a definitive word.
 
If I can pull this up in 5 minutes what do you think the Gov can do?

I'm not disagreeing that it would be very difficult but far from impossible.

Hi Chanler, Last week someone posted an overhead photo of investigators examining a remains they had found and you could see the skull in that pic. You could also see the bones of the victim laid out in order so it looked like a skeleton. I thought it rather odd they would lay the bones out on site rather than sending them to be assembled at the ME's office.

Just wondering if you saw that and what you think.
 
I'm a little confused. In terms of video in New York City, exactly what are we hoping to see? Someone on a cell phone? I'd imagine there are thousands of people on cell phones in New York City at about every moment during the day.

Hi, Scandi. I remember seeing that picture, but I don't remember where. I think that some archaeologists do the same thing, while others just send all the bones off for cleaning and classification. Seeing what you have might give you some sense of what parts you are still missing. I've never been on a dig, but I was astonished by a PBS special that showed a veteran archaeologist field worker who was able to almost instantly identify even a relatively small bone shard. (If I had liked working in dirt, I might have considered becoming an archaeologist.)

If the SK does travel and is rich, as some suspect, then maybe he travels to gamble. And if that is the case, then perhaps all these cases can be connected? Don't know.............just tossing the idea out there.

Also, are burlap bags used by animal control officers?

Well I just clicked on every single RSO in Nassau and Sufolk County looking for Level 3 which if he was ever arrested probably isn't.

Looked at all the vehicles for that Black Nissan Maxima.

Seeersly there's some frightening, violent people out there.
