the photos on the wall stood out to me as well. Wish I had Photoshop skill!

I wish I did too!!! Maybe someone with photoshop can get a cleaner copy. I just screen shot it into MS Word, then crop it and enlarge it till it seems "right", and then I copy it into MS Paint to make it a bmp file. It isn't perfect, but I have learned a lot of skills here at WS's that I would have never learned anywhere else!. :crazy:

Here is the best I could do with the picture that is behind PH during the interview. I think it is a picture of a girl with her back to us and sitting in a swing, or on a dock or something.

May be daughter, if he has one. Looks like she may be wearing a hoodie.

For some reason, I've been thinking that he hangs on to these bodies for a while afterwards. Not sure why, but I was kind of thinking that he dumped a couple bodies off at a time, but not necessarily right after he killed them.

He definitely seems super ritualistic. So there isn't much I would put past him at this point.

How would the SK have even known that Shannon's family had reported her missing? They reported her missing to LE, so someone who is connected to LE would have had to be the one to make the call because the general public had never even heard of SG at that point in time. So.... we have a physician who allegedly called SG's Mom to tell her he had let her stay at his home the night she ran from JB's house and he had been trying to help her kick and addiction habit. Th physician (PH) is connected to LE, lives close to where SG would have run, and just happens to live in a community littered with the bodies of dead sex workers. That is a lot of pretty strange coincidences. Do we know for sure if he does operate some sort of rehab facility there at his home???

I don't think the SK did know SG's family reported her missing when he made that call, because the call was intended to get SG's mom feel at ease and not worry in case they did want to report Shannon missing.
The call was to buy time or to lead Shannon's family into thinking she was ok.


IMO there is noway JB has been cleared by LE. Shannon's disappearance has to be connected to the SK, because of that call to her mom. If the call never happened I would be unsure if her disappearance was connected.

Here is my screen capture...notice it looks like a black and white photo of a girl maybe in her teens, with hands at her face posing. The other one top left in the distance is harder to make out but also of a child. Since this is the inside of his home and he has kids, it would be logical to assume those are pictures of his kids or grandkids

A serial killer I posted about awhile back would not admit to murdering women until his mother passed away.

Was this similar in the effect that the man told his mother not to worry if he was mentioned in the news reports?

It depends.

A lot of girls offer their services to multiple different suburbs of a certain city. I don't think it would be a big deal at all, especially if this guy wanted to book her for multiple hours.

Do we know what area she advertised for? Did she advertise based in NYC, or was it based out of Long Island?

I would think that as long as it was a "date" for multiple hours, that it would have been well worth the trip out there. This guy also could have been a repeat client, which is something I assumed for a while, but could be wrong about.

Regarding the burlap. If the perp isn't a clammer, he could be a chef in the area in a restaurant that closes in the off season, then he moves to another gig in the winter (AC Casino, Florida) Just a thought, maybe our drifter is a chef/cook--as a former waitress and bartender I can vouch that I have personally worked with some psychotic chefs.

If you go to the NY Medical Board site you will find that he is currently licensed. A D.O. is a doctor who graduated from a school of osteopathy. They are not M.D.'s but in some states they are allowed to practice and do everything an M.D. does. Most M.D.'s look down on them. He is listed on the various doctor review sites as practicing, there is no other address than his home address and there is no mention of a treatment center. If his specialty is emergency medicine he probably works at the local hospital. Those guys usually work a three or four day shift straight (as best I can remember) then have several days off. They don't usually have a private practice. I'm sure they do well working at the hospitals. They are in demand. Their profile includes that they like excitement and don't want to have close relations with patients.

Wonder how doctor of osteopathy became (former) police surgeon to the ABC reporter? Wow!

Just from seeing the Dr on video I thought his face was a bit more plump and his hair is thinning on top. IMO Nothing against the Dr.

Now that the doctor is okay to discuss I have a question: does an E.M.S. director have connections or contacts with funeral homes? I am thinking about the odd fact of the victims facing East. I did not know until I read a comment here that it is a tradition for people to be buried facing East. Would an EMS person beware of this?

Maybe this is a crazy question, but I guess it won't be the first.
