AHHH, but the future hasn't arrived yet.....there's plenty of time to throw out another crumb that it was the WRONG seat moved, or something to that effect, or even the seat looks like it was moved, but it didn't move that much, or it gets stuck, and the seat moves easily back and forth, etc.
I bet that info will change eventually. A good predictor of the future is what has happened in the past....all the info will change. ;)
Who knows, maybe the GTO will change and it will be someone else's with a Garfield in the window when they thought it was RM's! LOL!

Another spec I had was what if he has been in adultery for some years....maybe the reason he stopped taking the train was his routine changed and he had to have a reason for it to change so he made up the story about not wanting to park there. because he was doing something else....my ex did stuff like that for 3 years changing up routines he had done for 20 years....but always had a plausible reason for it...and maybe the reason he loved the car so much was because it held memories with gf ....but when he was taking off with her the car wasn't worth the trouble to keep because it attracted too much attn. JMO

and before anybody says "But he was home every night" so was my ex :lurk:

a friend to meet him at that strip club
and that is what upset the wife.

I bet he was a regular at that strip club...
maybe every other week or so.

and his wife found out. and so...instead of
getting yelled at yet AGAIN for going there
he went to the scrap yard..

got a receipt from the guy but did NOT give copper
just got a receipt and handed the guy a $20.

he met with fowl play. when leaving the scrap yard
and driving past the strip club.

he met with trouble at that strip club.
either he left there fearful of his life and said
oh - let me go to the first business and pull in
they have camera's - and i'll be safe there.
or it was a "beard" receipt.
and he met with fowl play long before the house.

he never went to the house.
never.
someone else was in that car driving to the house.

or
3rd theory as some of you were posting yesterday
he ran in the house to get the gun.
(makes me think of the movie chicago)
and he went back to the strip club ...with the gun

Nope I don't think this info will change because maybe this is the only info Ida wasn't the one to find. Someone else maybe did and said Hey the seat was moved all the way up.... JMO

Now that you mention it. My ex-electrician Local 3 Foreman boss (a real skeeve ball) used to brag about all kinds of stuff. He was full of himself and loved to brag. (He was nothing to brag about) Here I am, a woman doing office work for him and he would tell me about his weekly poker games with his contractor "buddies" where they would bring in strippers. "I don't want to hear it" I would say. He blabbed about a lot, including the union. :sick:

Is there any proof he went to strip clubs, especially on a regular basis?

Seeing how much attention is paid to the seat moved up, I take that with a grain of salt. There has been so much mis-info and conflicting info from the start, that I tend to dismiss the seat info. That's just me.

That is one thing I believe was true. One side of me thinks it could have been an oversight.

Plausible theory, Mockingbird, and I think you are on to something. Could it be that he had something going on from 1:15-2:15 in the neighborhood and turned his scrap in on the days that he was "in the neighborhood," if you know what I mean. He might have looked scared in the camera because he was doing something he should not be doing and getting a receipt , as you say, to cover himself. I have a feeling he was held accountable for every move he made. Some people who are married to Accountants or Lawyers have to account for everything, everyday.
 
JMO I think the "looked scared" in the video may be the result of his wife examining it looking for clues and reading too much into perhaps a tired, thoughtful expression as a person may have when not knowing they are on film. Unless of course, his next moves were all planned and he was thinking about what he was about to set in motion. It all depends on what really became of him, I guess.

Guys talk about stuff to other guys, that women never get the priviledge to hear. I always felt that he did some talking to his local 3 buddies and the "Guy Code" is you do not rat out another guy, no matter what. I will bet if he has a helper or someone he worked with alot, he would have told him some secrets that would be helpful to finding him.

It was a company phone so they would have had to get a warrant which I am assuming they did. But if it were my husband I would have gone through it before they got there :lookingitup::findinglink::eye:
