LE really dropped the ball on this one, imo. They should be under fire. Too late for the victims, but they handles this horrendously, imo. I can't figure out why there is not more interest in this either. Probably because it's not being televised. But, this man is a monster.

I agree with this being a horrendous crime(s). I am amazed at what they televise and the things they totally neglect. I read all the threads but can't add much. Just wanted to thank all of you who do take the time to keep the rest of us infomed.

(Reuters) - The father of one of alleged serial killer Anthony Sowell's victims testified at Sowell's trial Tuesday that he knew something was wrong when he did not get a call for days, and then months, from his troubled daughter.

But Donald Smith, the father of Kim "Candy" Smith, said police ignored his concerns.

The woman, who remains anonymous because The Plain Dealer does not name rape victims, is the fifth to say she survived an attack by Sowell.

If five came forward I'm sure there are more that he raped and let go. Possibly more that he raped and murdered. I wonder how long he lived in that house and where he lived before moving to this house. I wonder when he began killing.

I don't think we will ever know the full extent of his crimes, he isn't going to tell, and he may not completely remember them all,

Joe, you are so right. He probably doesn't remember them all and we probably won't ever know the number he killed or the number he raped. Many of those still living probably won't come forward. It would have been so horrible to them they might not want to have to relive it.

This is going to be absolutely horrific for these victims to relive this
