What Brian had planned would matter because he was supposed to call his friends upon arriving home. If someone else persuaded Brian to leave, that person must have had a very short window of time. If the person wasn't waiting for Brian at the apartment, then the person would have needed to arrive within a minute or two of Brian's arrival.
I think we'll see another podcast eventually. The podcasts are useful in generating interest in the case, but I don't think they'll solve it. If Brian died in the construction site and became entombed, then no one knows what happened to him. If he made it out of the complex, miraculously avoiding all cameras, then he was probably murdered by some lowlife--maybe some crackhead who just didn't like his looks--in which case only the killer would know what happened.

I would like to see someone interview the people who spent time with Shaffer while he was in Puerto Rico. Those people wouldn't have any direct knowledge of his disappearance, but they might know whether he had experimented with drugs, whether he had gotten into confrontations with strangers, etc.
What landfill? Not every dumpster's contents would end up in the same landfill. For private businesses, it would depend on what refuse company had the contract. Some large (construction, medical waste) dumpsters are hauled away full rather than being emptied into a truck.Would have loved to hear from Clint if he supplied Brian with some GHB or Rohypnol that evening...or if they acquired some during the bar-hopping spree before heading back to the Tuna the second time. We'll never know.
Thing is also how does a crack-head perfectly cover his tracks and manages to hide a 6 foot 2 body without a trace. They searched the dumpsters in the vicinity and later the landfill. If he had owned a car and offered a ride maybe they could have got far away from the scene though...

But Brain could have been stuffed in a trunk and then dumped into a ravine, crammed into a septic tank, or buried in a shallow grave.

The murder angle is harmless speculation, but I still think that Brian is most likely entombed in some unsuspected crevice in the Gateway building.
Wondering if Brian has ever slipped away for a day or more in the past, like this guy was known to do before he disappeared?

Definitely never been a mod. I should know all the rules though as I’ve been here long enough to, but for some reason the FB rules aren’t that clear to me. As in, sometimes we can link to public FB pages, and how is it decided which ones. Or is it just LE pages we can link to. As far as I know Reddit isn’t allowed. About the time I think I have it figured out it becomes fuzzy again,You are not? I thought you were a moderator in the beginning,
I was nicely told to read the rules when posting a reddit comment, and a facebook post was deleted with comments. Donno, I think they've got spyware or people report u quick as *ell. Try and we'll see what happens.
As Ozoner said, if not allowed will get deleted.Fair question and since I haven't said what I think happened it would be very hard to understand. If I did say what I think happened I'm sure it would get deleted. I have a detailed explanation as to what I think happened and why I think it happened the way it did. I do think he left voluntarily and not long after he got home. I think he was dead within a very short period of time. What ever he had planned after he got home didn't make a difference. Once he got home he was persuaded to leave. Is it OK for me to post a link on here that would direct people to my theory?

In an e-mail last week, Florence said: “While I appreciate any effort in trying to determine what happened to Brain [sic] that night, I must decline your request. ANY and ALL questions you have for me should be directed to my attorney, Neil Rosenberg.”
Is Brian Shaffer alive?
- Dear Clint, or William for that matter, you being a physician and all, you couldn't even spell the name of your lost friend right.
On the Dead or Alive FB page I read a few days ago that the podcast is on hold. They are in talks with a cable network to run the story and the network will only do it if they get information that has yet to be released.
