I saw that...I still can't believe nothing has been found...

All the digital "missing" Billboards around North East Ohio showing Bryons photo have been replaced with the county fugitives Wanted Billboards. Must be a monthly thing, because they had Bryon's photo up there for all of January, and they switched it right around beginning of Feb. Haven't seen anything on the news either.

Just watched live update on local news (anchor was Kevin Freeman) and they confirmed body found by a kayaker who then called 911 and the Medina County coroner will now work to ID. Freeman said some Macron family members did come to the scene, "distraught" and it is easy to see how they could be even though no ID has been made yet.

Agree. I believe they had already searched the lake. Only the center was unfrozen. Begs to wonder if there were no signs of dragging and such, how he got into the lake.

Is it possible he was put in the lake some time later after he'd been harmed or killed? Weather thawed quickly not too lonng after he disappeared.

Yes that's def possible, although I think its more likely that the original search just wasn't thorough enough. The lake is much bigger than the news made it seem.

Frustrating. This is why I'd been asking early on why searches weren't being conducted. Nice weather broke within a couple weeks of his disappearance. Could have had volunteer searches then and saved this family this prolonged misery.

One search by LE and that was the end of it. Search over. Never went back out. Disappointing.

I do not wish to be too graphic, but based on the way the kayaker describes the condition of the body, it sounds like there still is quite a bit of flesh left, so I am hopeful that the authorities will be able to determine the cause and manner of death (whether there was any water in the person's lungs, etc.).

If it does turn out to be Bryon, I am so terribly sad for his poor wife and children .

Not to go too off-topic, but if the body does indeed belong to Bryon, I hope that the man who found it gets the Crime Stopper reward. Though well-composed and articulate, he clearly appears shaken. I'm not sure about the rules and conditions related to the reward, but I'm sure Bryon's loved ones would be grateful.

What a shame. Law enforcement is now working at a disadvantage in trying to solve this case. Evidence lost, time for the perp to get his alibi established or even to have left town. Sympathy to the family.

Channel 5 reporter Bob Jones @bobjonesTV has tweeted that the body has been identified as Bryon Macron. Medina county Sheriff's to hold press conference at 4pm Thursday (tomorrow).

I live pretty close to all of this.. I wish to say first how awful this has turned out. His girls and his wife have no father and no husband. Friends have lost him and vice-versa.
Second, self-inflicted or foul play? I know how it seems to me. I do hope that if foul play has it they can somehow find the low-life (s) who did this to him, his family, friends and community. In God I Trust.
