It's odd...I tried searching her name and I can pull up next to no information. I'm assuming she was found safe. Can you share what happened in a nutshell?
She disappeared off the face of the earth for months. Her hubby, and I guess Janet, were involved in somewhat of a 3 way relationship with another woman. Of course, we all thought the worst, but then she showed up all of a sudden when she was arrested on a warrant. I don't think we ever found out any of the details on her disappearance. Janet had disappeared on her own. The relationship, husband and her criminal history were odd to me. She had been charged with embezzlement type crimes. I think she disappeared because of this relationship and the husband is somewhat strange and creepy...IMO

Still no sign of Cheryl. The longer this carries on the more worried I become that the likelihood of finding her will be slim. I would love to be wrong. Hoping she is safe and maybe needed a break from things, but the circumstances paint a more sinister picture of what is most likely going on. Hoping for the best for this beautiful woman!

Big question William wanted to replace the so called missing$4000.00, why hasn’t this family used this money as a reward for the information on Cheryl’s disappearance, why hasn’t the family been saturating the media, flyers, standing outside Kroger where her SUV was found handing out flyers, their silence is sending volumes of negative views on the innocence of them, to me this proves guilt, and to refuse a lie detector test, how many flags have to be thrown before LE presents.
Well if history tells us anything it took over two years for the Pike co murders, the Middletown murder nightmare, and the I 70/75 interchange murders of women, so I am not expecting much,
What this means is us sleuths, have to do our homework, and find Cheryl.
She did not deserve what happened to her, no one had the right to stop her life for their convenience and weird lifestyle. Damn frustrating.

Not trying to be sarcastic I picture William cutting Cheryl’s face out of family photos and inserting is girlfriend of the week
Also does anyone know status of the divorce, I thought there was a court hearing at the end of November, I guess William is spinning the wheel for the next seven years so he can declare her legally dead to cash in.
Big question did Cheryl have a life insurance policy , if so how much.

I keep reading over everyone’s ones since page one, and have another theory, I would like to bounce off my fellow sleuths.
It was mentioned that it seemed Cheryl was not happy , for example using a old a old FB photo, the open marriage nonsense, and Williams girlfriends, I thought is there any possibility that Cheryl made arrangements with a battered wife’s group, and her disappearance was staged, by the women’s group, to protect her, and they have her in a form of “witness protection”,
Do you guys think this has any merit, let’s piece this together, start with the SUV in Kroger, the way her belongings were left in the vehicle, where it was left,
Is it possible she staged it walked to her moms and was picked up by a battered wife’s group and is in hiding, this could also explain why her mom has been quiet about her disappearance, shes knows her daughter is safe and but not seeing her daughter daily makes her sad.
This theory my be far fetched, but at this point we have to keep looking at all angles,,please review and let me know if anyone thinks this is a road to explore, if so how many battered wife’s protection groups are in the Dayton area.

Wyome Referenced a question that should front and foremost, the second paragraph above about who actually saw Cheryl take the daughter to school, this question could be the key to the entire disappearance, for as disfunctional as this family was is it possible another family member took the daughter to school and the daughter lied to protect William, was there any security cameras in front of the school that could verify one way or another.
Based on Wyome question is it possible something bad happened to Cheryl oct 1 into oct2 after they got back from Florida, and that the family disposed of her in the cloak of darkness, but setup the daughter school drop off and abandoning car in a Kroger parking lot, which my theory of Marissa and the phone app find,
The more I think of this it makes sense to hide Cheryl early in the darkness of oct 2nd,
My fellow sleuths does this make any sense
According to one of the news articles that had quotes from Cheryl's older daughter (not William's kid) she mentioned that she was at the house the night before Cheryl went missing for a few hours.

Can someone provide the family tree makeup of this family, so I can get the members straight

With Ohio law if she misses the January date does he prevail by default
She brought the cause of action and William did not file a counter-suit (earlier he had time to do so) and that means that, should she not show up, her case would be dismissed and they would be still married. Had he filed a counter-suit then he would win by default on whatever terms in his prayer for relief provided he would show up in court.

At the moment, with no sign of Cheryl, he has the de-facto outcome of a divorce where he gets all assets, all debts, and full custody of their minor child.

Being USAF retired I reside in the military housing which is near Cheryl’s neighborhood, been here for years, the last few days I have asked neighbors, a cashier at the Kroger store and other places around , and was surprised that no one had any clue of this disappearance, and the only missing poster has the Woodman a McDonald’s is all torn and and has spilled coffee on it, since it was on the counter. There is not much out there to ask the public for help, it’s a shame unless a missing person sign is a large billboard the word does get out.
I still think if the area was saturated that first week maybe more leads would have come foreword, it’s too late now

I have been researching websites, and coming up with conflicting data, I was piecing together my theory of Cheryl voluntarily being in a woman’s victim shelter, some sites indicate that some groups notify the local police that the woman is safe, and that info is kept confidential for her safety.
Does any one know if this is true for Ohio, if so this would explain why the police are so quiet on this matter.
And with her valuables left behind , her cell phone can be tracked and also her credit cards.
No body ever realizes what she feared especially Williams love of all types of weapons, his web site is kinda of scary,
Maybe this so called open marriage I think she lived under great fear.
I wonder if she planned this escape while they were in Florida and made her move the morning of the 2nd of Oct.
After reading all 22 pages of the sleuths notes, newspaper, and internet, the police never indicated that the home was the scene of a violent attack.
I think Cheryl was scared, and was looking for a way out and took it, I would like to think she chose this option, a least she would be safe.
I seriously believe that William “ruled the roost” and could be a very dangerous person.

This is an interesting theory and fits somewhat with LE's silence and lack of family press conferences/media exposure. The family also supposedly decided against offering a reward, as well. I can understand them not wanting to go too high a reward and bring out the crazies, but was surprised after months of nothing/no leads/no arrest, that they'd decide against any reward for information. And several people have said there are no posters or local buzz either.

After all, there was about a week between the text about the nail in the coffin and her disappearance. Who knows what kind of arguments they may have had within that time to make her bail.

One poster to the closed FB group commented that they definitely argued about the girlfriend going on the FL trip. Take that of course with a grain of salt, of course.

You know if this theory pans out to be true, the Riverside PD , should make a statement that Cheryl is safe and is in good hands, and that from that point their disfunctional family problems can be addressed thru the courts, and all the people like us and other concerned people can address their efforts to other issues.
There has to be a reason for the silence.
I bet that William has his bimbo girlfriend living at the house and getting set to celebrate a Christmas.
Until the divorce is final or she turns up one way or another, she’s the woman of that home, and to think William replaced her like buying a new toothbrush pisses me off

One thing that hasn't been mentioned here is that there was an issue with her work truck that morning. Cheryl was a crash scene investigator. While she sometimes worked from home, a coworker said that Tuesdays is the day that they would receive their new cases and Cheryl was always in the office on Tuesdays for that purpose. The coworker texted Cheryl shortly after 9am and asked where she was, she received no reply, which was also completely out of character for her. Police were given this info. Cheryl had a work truck and the personal SUV which is what was left in the parking lot. When her employer went to get the work truck the day after she went missing, it wouldn't start. The hood latch was broken and the pully mechanism in the car had no tension at all, so it couldn't be opened to jump start either. They had to tow it. The most interesting fact though is that a neighbor saw Bill trying to use Cheryl's SUV that morning to jump the work car, which was pulled on to the street. The keys to the work truck are still missing according to the coworker.

So the speculation by one of the closed FB group members that I think is very very interesting, since she never answered text from work maybe he saw it and went about staging a few things like disabling her work vehicle, making sure he was seen trying to start the truck for her. Then loading all her work stuff into the Highlander and driving it to the parking lot to make it seem like she stopped there on her way to work and something happened to her in the parking lot, but as we know, staying far to the back of the lot so he wasn't visible on camera.

Another question is since we know that Bill was home that morning with both of Cheryl's cars, why isn't he listed as the last person to see her before she went missing?? The reports have always said the daughter was the last person when she was dropped off at school. But that's clearly not the case since they've said Cheryl came home and we know he was spotted there too.

I read the above postings this am over coffee a few times and the info provided really disturbs me, and it presented more questions, hopefully the sleuths have answers,
1) I reread Williams FB page top to bottom, and his content and lifestyle is weird, and I would consider him dangerous
2) does he have any friends on the Riverside PD , that are covering his tracks
3) the incident mentioned above where he attempted to run her off the road , the following should have happened
A) Cheryl should have notified her lawyer ASAP
B) a police report should been filed for assault, road rage
4) I still think there is some stock in the protective groups having her, he is dangerous
5) how long were the security cameras broken
6) for someone like William who believes in self defense I surprised the cameras were broken, his first layer of defense
7) need more info on this company truck issues
