Or is it that he and his family in that sty pit make a good scapegoat. I was all about it being SK and his family but I am not leaning that way anymore because of someone else pointing at everyone else and publically calling out why they are to blame.

First we hear about this Mike. No one takes that bait so then it is SK dropped her and about how trashy the King family is. Then it is TJ because he left and wasn't paying her bills. Now it is Nancy Grace. Where was RS on the night it happened??? Like I said I wonder if anyone at the King house saw Elaina or did they see a bundle that was said to be her. Yes I went there.
I think MS is going to be in for a world of hurt when the truth comes out because she has been lied to. Why is it that MS could say the very things that RS said the FBI told him not to say as it could compromise the investigation. Why else do you think TJ and his family are sitting back and trying to play nice. Yes today was unfortunate but how much is that guy supposed to take? I think seeing RS playing pity party lie games with reporters was more than he could take.

Could RS taunt T.J. and his family any more? I almost wanna smack RS myself and I'm a pretty peaceful person. He needs to be more productive and channel his anger differently. It is not helping anyone AND it certainly isn't helping bring baby Elaina home.

I really can't blame Elaina's family and friends for asking, demanding, screaming, "Where is Elaina??"

"BRING ELAINA HOME!!!"

This case smells just like the Haleigh Cummings case...Rotten.
Once again a cast of characters with a collective IQ in the single digits has managed to commit a crime so stupid that it's actually smart enough to never be solved. The people in that house have more to hide than Elaina's disappearance... Two weeks of stonewalling on the part of her mother and the other witnesses has already given them half the amount of lead time that Casey Anthony needed to get away with murder. The only difference is that Angela Steinfurth got put in the slammer sooner than Misty Croslin.

Sick.

I thought about Haleigh Cummings but I think this case is more like missing Ayla Reynolds.

OT - WOWZERS - this info. on TE NEEDS to be on the front page of WS...Maybe a donation FLURRY can be created here. They are TOO VALUABLE to shut down...

This is horrible. Why the heck doesn't HLN pony up some money and donate it to TES? HLN makes so much money on missing people - they should really give back!!! I'm going to have to start emailing them - I'm sure they'll listen - NOT.

I agree. My parents were ... Well, lets just say that they won't ever be getting any awards for their parenting skills. My mom was just too young, shallow and unsettled to be a mother (she left when I was 5 and it was probably the kindest thing she could have done for us) and my dad meant well but he equated being a good father with being a workaholic that could buy us the moon. He married multiple sketchy women to "find us a mom" but luckily he did divorce them as soon as he realized they were useless (at best). My brothers and I took very different lessons from our childhoods. My ex SIL sums it up perfectly by saying that I watched my parents and learnt exactly what not to do while my brothers declared it a competition and set out to fail even worse.

My mom lives with me now (after sending her to FL one Fri to go live with her sis and then being forced to make a panicked, spur of the moment 12+ drive to FL 4 days later to bring her back home) but we have a very strange relationship. The dynamics and roles are very much reversed. Angela & Billie Dunn both remind me a great deal of my mother. I think that is a lot of the reason that this case has caught me so tightly. I know the hell that Elaina & K likely lived with a mother like mine and no child should have to face that.

Off topic... But good on you for being the bigger person and taking her in even after the childhood you endured..

My siblings and I suffered abuse at the hands of our mother, verbal and physical and now on my terms (thoroughly supervised and only at my home) I let her see her grand kids. It certainly takes a bigger person to allow them back in after the hurt and pain endured..

It is really distressing to see that RS seems far more concerned with making TJ look bad than finding his grandchild. Dude, your daughter has "admitted" that her bed (er, couch) buddy injured and hid Elaina so ... Glass houses and all the crap - I would probably quit with the blame game because your child is so far from the moral high road that even TES couldn't find her. Apple ... Tree ... Yeah, I see where Angela got her sparkling sense of boundaries and common decency.

I think you learn either way. You learn to be *****ty, or, you learn to be great.

That may be true for some, but my husband had some *****ty parents growing up, and he's an excellent parent to our girls.

Ditto! Mine did too, he took note of everything they did wrong and made sure not to repeat the same mistakes! He's amazing.... They're still *****ty

I'm so sorry that you had to go through so much. My mom was never abusive she was neglectful (no interest in parenting when she was busy sneaking guys in as soon as my dad left for work*) and unavailable. I'm glad that she left before I was really old enough to understand and that by the time she returned I was old enough to know what to expect and temper my expectations of her. She adores my boys and is wonderful with them so I've learnt to respect and accept her as a grandmother.

*my entire life I have equated being allowed to jump on the bed with "mommy has a guy over and if we don't tell daddy we can jump on the bed". And my reintroduction to my mom - I was 13 and stepmom #4 had ran an ad looking for a live in housekeeper while she was in nursing school. I came home from cheer leading practice to discover my mom was back in the state and my stepmom had just gave her a job! My dad about died when he came home from work but he let her stay until she married my stepmom's ex-husband.

You learn how to parent from your parents....imo

Not always.. My sister is a selfish crap of a mother... Our mother always put her kids first. Just saying, it can go either way

I don't even know where to begin...

SK's cousin, Chris, (her residence is where he is allegedly staying) discusses with NG what really happened. This is one you need to listen to. The story, as you probably expect, diverges slightly in some areas, and in others diverges greatly from what has already been released in terms of the timeline.

She (Chris) reports that SK and AS left the baby twice on that Sunday (to a convenient store and the Dollar Store) - the baby was left in the care of one of SK's Brother's friends. Also that AS was in and out of the house a lot that day while SK played with the older daughter. SK supposedly shared that there were no injuries to Elaina and only a slight bump on Elaina's head.

The most dumbfounding of all, is that Chris reports that when LE showed up she went to a box that held some keepsakes for her daughters. She allegedly made the comment, "I didn't have enough time with Elaina."

Anyone transcribing? This has been pretty interesting already. Angela slapping K. and calling her a b*t&h according to neighbors, leaving Elaina alone for hours at a time, etc. but Frank says nope they were fine parents.

HAHAHAHHAHAHHA - something tells me that THAT is just... Frank being Frank. He may have been out searching and posting notices...

one of nancys posts said the dogs hit somewhere anyone hear anything about this Bombshell developments today in the desperate search for missing baby Elaina. We just learn a cadaver dog hones in on a specific area of “interest” near the missing tot’s home. This as mommy makes a court appearance, reportedly visibly shaken & fidgety, where afterwards the missing tot’s family breaks out into a big fight – all caught on video. How is this helping the search for the 1-yr-old missing toddler? And is baby Elaina’s 4-yr-old sister the key to this investigation?

now we're learning from a local paper the mom and SK left the house in the maroon van between 12-1am and were gone about 15 min, we've told you SK isn't a suspect, a diaper found less than a mile from the home, in that 15 min would it be possible to get the river and back? let me bring in ginger smith, Elaina's adult cousin, as you hear all this what sense are you getting about what really happened to this child?

you know, again I don't like to speculate but we do now know a neighbor seen this I wish we'd know earlier so maybe we could pin it down a little bit better butt I still believe in my heart that Angela knows where Elaina is, any little tip will help us, anything call it in (paraphrasing) -

JVM - why did the neighbor take 2+ weeks to be interviewed? This was a NEIGHBOR for goodness sake!

That's something we don't understand, they were like pick this house pick that house, to search and ask questions.

(playing RS' statements about Angela knowing what happened but not where she is)

JVM - how is it possible she can say these things, and btw cops say she is changing her story behind bars and this is a red herring.

Frank - well I don't think she had anything directly to do with the disapperance of the child, she loved the child too much

Then hwy didn't she take her to the hospital or the doctor when she had these injuries?

Well I know nobody is an expert here but she said she had her BF look over the child and the child would be find, but what I want to know is how the injuries happened.

And Frank, did she seriously tell you she woke up and found the baby with a black eye?

She told me she woke up and the baby already had a black eye, bit of blood on her nose, and a bump on her head already, yes.

But my question is Saturday when she was calling everybody in town begging pleading arguing and nobody would help her give her a place to stay, but she couldn't stay with her fatehr because she is a smoker...

JVM - OH OH You put a child in a DANGEROUS situation, when she could've stayed with her dad, and she she stays with her ex boyfriend because he will let her smoke? COME ON.

Frank - well I mean she didn't want to stay with her father...

JVM - look, I commend you for coming on and saying these things, I know this is your friend..

Frank - I just think somebody int that house had to know something, see something, there's just no way she pulled this off all by her house, somebody in that house HAD to see something..
(clips of JK, SK's mom)
commercial

(just typed all that with a HUGE splinter in my finger, YIKES, I hope this commercial is long)

My producer did a great job of telling you what's on NG tonight, so I'll leave it at that. Tomorrow I'm recording JVM, NG will be not be new. Equusearch will be in town tomorrow 45 strong to search all weekend. Justice for Nevaeh plans to participate also with a large group. I will update as needed on my station page.
