My point is if we can narrow it down, it might explain a lot. If he truly was trying to stay home that day, he wasn't avoiding home.

I’m torn on this. In some of his videos he talks about how school is his safe space (or at least middle school was, maybe not high school where he was now a freshman). If things were really rough at home, I can see him not looking forward to a long break from school because that would mean not being able to get away.

A stroke could absolutely affect her cognitive abilities and would explain why she might not be acting in a way that would be considered normal. That doesn't negate the permissive parenting aspects that seem to have been going on for a long time.

I believe they were never turned on. When I checked after Dec 20 there were no comments, and it appears he talks on video to everyone on the YouTube. However on other platforms, not owned by him he has responded by commenting.

On HD's Reddit account someone called him trash, to which HD responded "how did you find me" the person then responded "I find anyone" HD then says "Except for me IRL" to which the Redditor says "I'm ready" (I uploaded a screenshot before but it was taken down, I'm new & still learning the rules - my apologies) this exchange on Reddit took place about a month ago. Both HD and the other Redditor's account appear to be newer accounts and both inactive as of about a month ago.

I saw that as well. However when I looked up the dudes profile, it was all madden gaming stuff and nothing really nefarious that threw red flags for me (other than the comment). I personally wrote it off as them talking smack to each other. IMO, but who really knows.

I believe this is in reference to the league / player in the game.
I had my 14yo son come look and he said ;
As in "I can't believe I got him (this player in my league)"

Walking in 34 degrees in just a hoodie didn't seem strange at all. Teen-agers don't wear coats. My 16 y/0 only wears them for a fashion choice & never to school. So not cool.

My mom was very sick and hospitalized for a month when I was 11. My dad, God love him, was clueless of my day to day routine & consumed with worry about my mom. It was a very scary time for me & turned my world upside down. I would imagine Harley was scared out of his mind. Didn't he stay with relatives during that time? Another upheaval. No one ever tells kids exactly what's going on, either, which makes it worse.

Because it sounds like she was very ill, it's entirely possible she medically wasn't able to drive him to school.

I thought those comments were just trash-talking, nothing sinister at all.

I also find it very curious so many agencies are involved.

I really hope he's holed up somewhere, laying low.

Harley seems like a bright kid ,likes to push things to the edge a bit but that's what being in the teens is all about. Seems SM works to his advantage and he's quite comfortable with it. If he's "laying low" I would bet he's found another way to communicate with followers. Am pretty sure the huge LE presence is on top of that. Way way outta my league, my grandkids try to catch me up , then I go research whatever topic to see the application at work. Still praying for you Harley , be safe and warm. Things will settle down and you'll find a way to work it all out. Sometimes not as quickly as one might like. Hang in there , everyone is still here looking for ya ! MOO.

There’s another video where Harley seems congested and says “I don’t feel well, still gotta go to school though!” and shrugs it off like it’s no big deal. Seems like the same situation as this time.

IMO - I really don’t think they wanting to stay home sick is anything abnormal. Heck, I loved school and I tried to finagle my way staying home once in awhile too. Teens are lazy. Video games are more fun. It’s normal teen behavior IMO.

So I was looking around on the attorney general website and while most kids are listed as an “endangered runaway”, Harley is listed as “lost, injured or missing”. This is an interesting distinction because from my understanding the police are insisting they are treating it as a runaway. I can’t find official definitions of the terms though.

Also, during my search, I came across a report from AG, which outlines the tools available - amber alert etc. Other than the amber alert, there is also the “Endangered missing child alert”. I’ll put up a screenshot. It says it’s for kids that mostly meet AMBER alert criteria but abduction can’t be substantiated. Do we know if anything like this was initiated?

I’m confused because didn’t the police chief say during one of his pressers that he didn’t believe Harley ran away or was abducted? Maybe that view has changed since then? It was from a few days ago, posted here on WS. I’ll have to go back and look for it.

That’s my understanding and I’ve asked the same question. We don’t know if he had access to Xbox live, a tablet, secret accounts... most teens by 14 have TWO if they have parents that monitor them. One mom & dad knows about and another secret one.
