No news, apparently, but somehow I feel hopeful for Jayme. I wonder if we could get someone who knows her onboard here to help us out. Some family or friend, maybe from her FB pages? We sure need an update!

It's being said that Jayme was last seen when she walked from her sisters home to her parents-just a few blocks away.
I'm sure it's been considered but I'm going to ask anyways. Do we know if there are any abandoned homes or typical drug spots on the way? A particular person known to be in the area she could have come across that may have known her history & that she just came out of rehab?
I also wonder if her & her bf were still together when she went missing. I don't see anything indicating a break up but sometimes on FB you can never tell unless it's obvious & dramatic.
I noticed someone-maybe her mother is using her FB? I'm not sure why that is, I can see posting to her but not as her. That just doesn't seem helpful for her case, especially if LE is watching her SM.
I really wish we had some sort of Verified Insider here with so much lack of info. Jayme really needs the attention.
Any chance of a decent journalist taking an interest in Jayme & other local missing girls & possibly writing a series of stories?

Just to clarify my above about the boyfriend. I was seeing an old one that was noted. Now see the photos of the newer one that was in prison, released 2/2013. Still have the same question about if they were still together & where he was when she disappeared.
But I also wonder if his history didn't have a play in her disappearance?

Search for missing Columbus woman attracting famous attention

HUNTINGTON, WV - Family, friends and a whole host of concerned citizens looking for a missing person in Columbus, Ohio, have gotten the attention of a celebrity who is very interested in helping.

Jayme Bowen, 23 of Columbus, went missing in April of 2014 while on a short walk from her sister's house to her mother's, a distance of just a few blocks. Bowen's friends and family were approached by actor John Travolta while he was filming a movie in the city during an event hosted by Jayme's Message, a nonprofit organization directed towards helping those affected by human trafficking.

"He's a wonderful guy and I was stunned when I saw him walk over to us and ask questions about her, Erick Bellomy, family friend and organizer and fonder of Jayme's Message, said. " He took my card and his assistant told me he would give me a call when he is done filming to see what he can do to help."

Travolta Lends Help to Search for Missing Columbus Mom

The case of the missing mom has caught the attention of John Travolta, who is in town filming a movie. He recently took a photo holding a banner with details about Jayme’s disappearance.

“People are totally star struck over him, and now he is recognizing my daughter,” said Nancy.

Erick Bellomy shared Jayme’s story with Travolta while he was shooting a scene in South Columbus, a few streets down from where Jayme was last seen. After hearing about the missing mom, Travolta offered to take a picture to bring attention to Jayme’s case.

“I wasn’t expecting that,” said Erick, “I just wanted him to see her picture, him standing behind the banner, way above my expectations,” said Erick.

Kind of off topic but I met John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children when he was in Baltimore filming Ladder 49. Through a friend involved in production I was invited to some of the filming and then was able to participate in a "tour" for the family. I was so impressed by the family. John and Kelly were incredibly nice. What surprised me the most was the reaction of the children to the tour. I was assuming they'd be bored out of their minds because they travel in a private jet, flown by their Dad for gosh sakes. They were like any other kids, excited about the fire equipment and impressed by the fire fighters and paramedics.
I do hope he does follow up. Over the years he has done a lot of really kind, personal things, that I have read about. I don't agree with his religion but he does seem so genuine.
