Tiffany is suss, I think she knows the killers
This kept me up last night also...
I think as information comes to light, this is the most likely situation. I'm not sure if she knew the killers but she certainly knows more than she is letting on to.
The street view photos show that there is no way someone from their car passing by could see into the house, let alone identify that the house has possibly been ransacked. Even if she did exit her vehicle and ring the doorbell, the family has stated that the blinds and curtains were closed.
The time that elapsed between the initial interrupted phone call and the call to the mother tells the tale.
To recap: (Please Correct me if I am wrong, I may be confused about if Tiff was the one that overheard John drop the phone or if there was another friend involved)
______________________________________________________________
That weekend the couple had friends over to play pool.
Sunday @ 11:00 pm - John and "Tiff" talk on the phone. Tiff states John plans on picking her up and is about to head out the door.
Shortly after the prior phone call -Tiff calls John back to tell him she is going to the store so he should wait a minute and overhears the phone dropping and along with the comment "Bro what are you doing"
During this time - Tiff attempts to reach both John and Lisa by phoning them and texting them. Tiff says she drives by the house and the lights are on. One statement places Tiff at the front door to ring the doorbell but there is no answer.
Monday @ 1:03 am - Tiff calls John's mother and explains what happened.
1:21 am - John's mother calls 911 to report what happened. She also states that Tiff has picked up John's father and they are driving to the house.
1:28 am - Sheriff deputies arrive at the house and find no probable cause to enter. The exterior doors are locked and the the windows are undamaged. They cannot see into the house. They stay on sight for 11 minutes.
2:06 am - Sheriff deputies arrive for a second time because John's mother calls 911 again. The second call comes from outside the Longacre Lane house where the mother, father, cousin, and Tiff (possibly along with friends of Tiff) are looking over the house. While on the phone with the 911 operator, the mother hands the phone to Tiffany and she states what she heard when she was on the phone with John. Two cars respond and check over the house and find nothing out of the ordinary. They refuse to kick in the door but remain on scene for 36 minutes.
3:50 am - The cousin is lifted up by the father at a window. The cousin is able to see part of a person. The father breaks in the door and discovers the scene. The mother places the third phone call. It is safe to assume that all people present on scene enter the house and attempt to administer first aid / or help.
The cell phone call log should identify what was going on prior to 11:00 and also verify Tiff's story. Here are several questions that might help understand the situation in greater detail:
Why did John drop the phone without anyone commanding him to do so? Clearly the perpetrator(s) saw that he was on the phone.
Why did Tiff go and investigate a possible home invasion?
Why did she wait so long to get a hold of John's mother?
Why not call 911 directly?
It seems more likely that the phone call in question never took place, at least not like she stated. As pointed out earlier, John was shirtless and probably was not planing on leaving.
It seems more likely that she knew of something happening, and probably didn't know what it was but became scared after there was no response for so long.
The case is beginning to grow cold without any type of lead. I pray that the perpetrator(s) will be brought to justice, these were very tragic murders.
