I'm glad he won't get out, but sorry he didn't get the death penalty. This kind of case screams for the death penalty, imo.

I am not usually a fan of the DP, but It would please me to hear that this monster would be put to death. Also, if the mother truly DID witness this crime - the same applies to her. How could you allow this to happen to your child?

For criminals like this - my usual belief in the justice system and criminals rights goes right out the window. There should be a pit of acid they are thrown into so they can simply dissolve. I don't believe an innocent tree should die to house them in their death - nor should good soil go to waste in burying them. Not to mention tax payers money.

I would love to know where the baby is, and how she is recovering. If they are charging the mother with not reporting, then surely the baby isn't back with her?
