45-year-old Michael Clausell has been missing since May 13.

According to Lee, his son was driving a rental car to Dayton for a work trip.

Days later, the family received a call from the car rental company saying that their son never dropped the car back off.

On May 13, Ohio state highway patrol reported to the scene of an abandoned crashed vehicle matching that description in Yellow Springs.

45-year-old Michael Clausell has been missing for almost three months now.

On May 13, the Greene County Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol found Clausell's crashed vehicle, but no sign of Clausell anywhere.

Clausell was driving a car that he rented for work, heading southbound on East Enon Road, according to a police report from Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Investigators say that he failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Enon and Hyde Roads, when he traveled south off the roadway, went into a ditch, a fence, a tree, and then drove into a field.

Clausell is around six feet tall and weighs 240 to 250 pounds.

There's no indication at this time that alcohol was involved in the crash, but all of Clausell's belongings, like his cell phone, were found inside that rental car.

On Sunday, August 4, the Ohio Landsar Search and Rescue Team had a team of roughly 40 people who began searching for him at 8 a.m. in a six-mile range around the crash site.

“We ask that people check your barns, your ponds, your lakes, your fields, anything in that nature,” said Chief John Adams of Ohio Landsar. "There’s soybean fields, corn fields, there’s a lot of thick woods out there. We have a drone team that will be going up as well.”

The team, and Clausell’s family, used drones and dogs to help search through the area.
