His goose is cooked. That's as close to wild game 4 will ever eat. Goodbye and good riddance after Monday.

Yup. I want to see all the LE officers escorting him out. The jail will have packed up all of his belongings and will send them along with him to an Ohio prison intake reception center. This should all happen after he leaves court this Monday. Inmates are immediately turned over the the Ohio prison system after sentencing.

The Lorain Correctional Institution, located in Grafton, Ohio, processes male inmates from twenty-five counties in the northern part of Ohio. Male inmates from the remaining sixty-three counties are processed through the Correctional Reception Center, located in Orient, Ohio.

Note there is a Public Defender Orientation which maybe he could use for his appeals? If Nash and Parker stop getting paid and won't do Pro Bono? Not sure how it works.

Day 1

Inmate Received From Conveying Agency
Inmate Strip Searched
Record Office Personnel Receives and Reviews Commitment Papers and Assigns the Inmate an Institution Identification Number

Barbershop-Regulation Reception Haircuts
Profile Photos Taken, ID Badge Issued, Emergency Notification Data Entered into Computer Data System
Medical Intake History, TB Test, Mental Health Initial Evaluation
Assigned to Intake Housing Unit, Handbook Issued, General Orientation Given, Showers Given

Day 2

Chest X-Rays With Initial Dental Exam
Blood Drawn by Phlebotomist
Reception Physician Complete Physical Examination
Fingerprints Taken
Inmate Interviewed by Classification Specialist for Visiting Lists and Separation Needs to Include the Reception Classification Intake Questionnaire
Security Threat Group Identification and Registration

"Anyone in Ohio convicted of aggravated murder is required by state law to be sentenced to life in prison.

It’s not clear yet, however, if Pike County Common Pleas Court Judge Randy Deering will order the life sentences to be consecutive or concurrent, or with the possibility of parole."

Yup. I want to see all the LE officers escorting him out.

I want to see him shuffling in his prison uniform complete with obvious shackles. No more stylin' black leather vest, just another convicted criminal.

I forgot about that! Your right, he should be in prison clothes and shackles. No nice leather vest or hidden stun vest without cuffs and shackles.

As far as Jake's lies to his attorneys go (see last sentence below) it could be as simple as Jake telling his attorneys he was innocent in the beginning but then, after seeing all the evidence, Jake changed his plea to guilty.

Reasons for George to get the chance for parole and get a new trial from the article:

Wagner IV’s lawyers, John Parker and Richard Nash, requested that he receive a sentence with a “realistic parole board date at which time the board can properly determine whether he should be released from prison based on his conduct and contemporary standards.”

“Human dignity demands as much,” they wrote.

They also noted he didn’t actually kill anyone.

“Jake, the actual killer of at least five of the eight victims, receive life without parole; George was convicted under a complicity theory and did not kill anybody. Angela, the mother of both Jake and George and perhaps the mastermind, received a penalty of only 30 years and will be released (from prison) in about 26 years. She was not held largely accountable for any of the homicides.”

Wagner IV’s attorneys also allege he was denied a fair trial and due process on the following grounds, according to a copy of the motion filed this week:

He “was forced to have a jury that was conviction prone” because the death penalty as a possible sentence upon conviction was only dismissed the moments before closing arguments and after jury instructions “had been haggled over for days by the parties.”

The court quashed his defense’s subpoena for his brother’s attorney’s notes/documentation of his brother’s private communications with his attorney about the facts of the case. When his brother, Jake Wagner, testified about those conversations, he waived attorney-client privilege, George Wagner’s attorneys argue. They maintain they were unable to cross-examine his brother, Jake Wagner, on the story he told to his attorneys. “Inconsistencies are often the key for a jury to determine one’s credibility.

Jake admitted he lied to his attorneys but George has been denied the opportunity to determine the exact lies and what his counsel’s notes can prove about his lies.”

@Cool Cats Yes to all LE escorting him out. Maybe even have Agent Scheiderer can be his personal escort. I still think that mad has to be made of something special to listen to George threatened him and know that his addresses was googled. That is so far beyond a little ranting and making empty threats due to being sleep deprived and paranoid. He has a family and I just can't imagine holding back from what he really wanted to say or do to George after that point.

I forgot that the Wagner's googled Scheiderer's address. Probably Reader's too. Reader said at a press conference that he had safety precautions put in place because George threatened him. George also threatened DeWine as Attorney General so I am sure DeWine's office had security put in place for DeWine's home and office etc... Plus the Wagner's movements were monitored.

Scheiderer said George wanted to smash his face in and he said George had violent tendencies. George is a good example of what happens when LE corners a man who is a control freak with a bad temper and violent tendencies.

Quick to get paranoid comes to mind. George was quick to get paranoid about things he couldn't control.

I just got finished with around three and a half hours of listening to JW's narrated, testimony transcript (and they're not finished). Is he being 100% on the mark, in his testimony? No, but I'm very comfortable now that G4 was there. As an armchair juror, I didn't doubt the true jury, I just couldn't convict based on what I'd been permitted to hear and see.

The narrator was in the courtroom for the trial (and for JW's testimony). He and individual reading as AC, do a good job. I am unsure just what kind of spectrum JW would fall in but the testimony has been methodical, matter-of-fact, and chilling, thus far.

I've now got a couple of new theories on how it went down at CR1's based on what I've heard so far, of JW's testimony, (I now think he protected G3 to a degree when it came to shooting no one), combined with Dr. Looman's autopsy testimony of CR1, and GR.

Jake is not dumb as he'd like folks to believe, (undereducated, yes, but he's far from dumb), however, thankfully special agent Matt White one-upped him, being smarter and dedicated to solving the case. I liked him from the git go.

It's worth a listen . YT search will find it for those who haven't listened yet. Not sure if my link is permitted.

I think this link is allowed. Other podcasts have been linked. Anyone being interviewed on a podcast needs to give their real name and connection to the Case.

I'm not 100% sure if we can quote Jake's transcript from this podcast.

I'd love to hear your theories. I definitely think something is off with the story told about CRsr house. I don't know if it's lack of memory from it being so long ago or if it's just complete protection of George or something else. I also do wonder if Jake has had any mental health diagnosis since he's been in jail. We know he is on an anti depressant and I believe it was a medication for his thyroid. We also know his family didn't really believe in going to doctors (I wonder about that head injury he had and got no real medical treatment for).. so many things could play into why he was so matter of fact on the stand and seemed so cold.. maybe he is or maybe he is medicated and/or he is on the spectrum and the emotions of things could be a struggle for him.

I also think back to those recordings of him and his mom and him and Beth. It's like he recognizes things are wrong, but he even then doesn't have a super emotional reaction to it. Beth is pouring her heart out and he is quiet.. then he agrees with her, but doesn't really say much to comfort her, it's like he does not know how to do that. Then something else that stands out is him saying to his mom so many times "I love you, but" She never says it back. It's as if he thinks she won't be as mad about what he's goin got say if he says I love you first. Maybe he thinks that is what people say, but he lacks the ability to understand emotions. He actually sounds the most sane of them all on the recordings we heard. That is wild to think about considering he's on the stand talking about murdering 8 people like he's telling a story about how his day was so far.

This is good to bookmark. Highlights testimony throughout the trial. Helps organize it like a TIMELINE.

I had forgotten that Agent Scheiderer's address was googled. I now remember it was brought up in a motions hearing I think. Was this ever entered into evidence at the trial. I would think this would go to show The Wagners were looking to seek revenge on anyone investigating them. There are so many, many different aspects of this case that shows this family of 4 was not right in the head. It is hard for me to understand what would possess them to seek revenge on the Sherrif, BCI agents, and the State Attorney General(Later Governor). Who does that? An Innocent person? I don't think so.

<modsnip: discussing moderation on thread> G4 is guilty as sin. I believe G3 to be as well, but innocent until proven. I feel my theory is valid and will share it when, or if, the released data is permitted to be discussed. Hope all have a wonderful Holiday Season.

No, it is Monday, 12/19.

Thank you! It was that previous post that listed the motion hearing on 12/15 - so was confused. I shall add that to my notes! Thanks again!

Severe penalties, emotional victim statements expected at Wagner sentencing

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – George Wagner IV’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for early Monday morning, five and a half weeks after a jury of nine women and three men took less than eight hours to find him guilty on all 22 charges for his role in the 2016 Pike County massacre.

They talk of "human dignity"
