O/T. By not having sound or vision meant I could watch Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth be taken from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall on a gun carriage. An emotional sight to see.

I did the same. While I am not in the UK, it was very emotional.

I could be wrong, but I believe the judge set aside 8-9 weeks for the trial. I am wondering too about this combined effort among all LE to opt out of audio/video. I wonder if an "order" has been handed down to police in Pike County? Any ideas?

I think there was one active duty Pike Co deputy who testified via video today. Another was former Piketon PD who testified audio only.
It will be interesting to see how many BCI agents testify with camera and audio.

In reference to your earlier post about BW footprints not being mentioned so far, I think it is very possible that BW did leave footprints--considering the amount of blood at the scenes and BW and GW4 allegedly were the two who moved CRSR and GR's bodies. I also think the reason we haven't heard anything about BW footprints at all up to this point is because he and his team didn't participate in the Daubert hearing and this is not BW's trial. This is only GW4's trial and shoeprint evidence introduced would just pertain to him and maybe JW since he is testifying against his brother.

I think it is very possible that, if BW did leave footprints at any of the scenes, we may not hear about those footprints until BW's trial. Just a very uneducated guess on my part.

1.) North of Chris Sr's entryway is left print of 11W athletic works shoe.

2.) On Chris Sr's living room floor another left print was found of the 11W athletic works shoe.

3.) Also North of Chris Sr's porch entryway or on living room floor or both,
a left print was found of a size 10.5 athletic works shoe.

4.) At Dana's a left print of a 11W athletic works shoe was found and only this size print was found at Dana's.

5.) Receipt from Waverly Walmart found on Angela Wagner's property shows the purchase of these 2 sizes of athletic works shoes that match the shoe footprints found at 4077 (Chris Sr's) and 3122 UHR (Dana's).

6.) A still photo of Angie shows her leaving Walmart at time the athletic works shoes were purchased right before murders.

7.) To determine if these specifically bought athletic works shoes were worn by any of the suspects, shoes from the same mold were purchased in Florida to compare to the 4077 and 3122 UHR crime scenes. The shoe expert is able to conclude that there are 2 distinct sizes that were worn - - Size 11W and size 10.5W.

8.) Outsole design, mold, dimension, texture pattern, and other forensic comparisons were made matching the shoes Angie bought to the shoe prints at the crime scenes.

9.) Angela Canepa said that Angela Wagner bought these shoes for Jake and George and they are deliberately of the size and style they do not wear.

10.) Angie admitted to buying the shoes for Jake and George and said she threw them out because Jake and George didn't like the shoes.

11.) Jake and George denied that they had seen the shoes. Jake's proffer could now tell a different story as to what he has to say about the shoes.

12.) Special note: The shoe prints at the crime scenes show no wear on the tread. The tread looks new. Angie bought the shoes just 2-3 weeks before the murders.

According to this article Billy Morgan testified that he does not know how to read or write, nor does he know his age other than he was born in the 70s. He also testified that he was working for Chris Sr. and that Chris Sr. gave him a truck and that he was working off the payment of that truck. I assume Ohio requires driver's licenses and that most likely there is a written portion on the test. How does one pass if they can not read or write? And would not a birthdate be required on that driver's license? So far this whole case is turning really hinky.

There are other ways to verify DOB. I work in social services and many times have had clients with limited mental abilities. Some did not know how to spell their own names or their children’s names. I Have No Birth Certificate. What Can I Do? - US Birth Certificates

I can't imagine why they would go to the huge expense of a trial instead of cutting a deal with GW4, if their case is allegedly weak. They could have easily done that, as they did with Jake and Angela. George's signature is on those fake custody documents that Angela had them all sign in case they were killed that night. It was about custody.

I'm sorry, but I'm not falling for the Wagner conspiracy theories about cartels or the Manleys or whatever. I think the case is way past that. There's still a ton of evidence and witnesses ahead. I'm surprised I'm having to make this argument right now.

Right on Betty! There have only been 3 days of this trial so far. i don’t know what anyone would expect to see as evidence yet. The jurors are admonished to not make a judgement until all evidence is seen and at this early stage, we haven’t seen much of anything.

There have been no social distancing OR mask requirements put in place which is unreal since Pike County is in the red (high alert for transmission) of covid. Luckily the courtroom is not packed so you don't have to be overly close to others. Lots of sniffling and coughing though. Plenty of tears from the victims families and it breaks my heart when Ms. Geneva sobs.

For now there are seats available to watch the trial, but I expect a filled courtroom when the two self admitted felon Wagner's appear. This is such a horrible case. Bless the Manley's, the Rhoden's, and the Gilley's and above all.... bless the children.

I really wanted to watch 4 as JW and AW explain in detail how they murdered 8 people. How he planned, bought items for and in use of those 8 murders, voted to commit the murders, and in fact helped carry out those murders. Unfortunately, I'm certain the cowards will opt out.

4 had an opportunity to say NO! HE had an opportunity to call LE, or even the Rhodens, to warn what was coming. 4 didn't do anything but participated in those murders, and covered up the murders and helped make plans to exact revenge on the LE community should one get arrested.

I find it fantasy to believe AW and JW planned and committed these murders without the knowledge of 3 and 4. It is just my opinion, obviously.

For what it's worth, I think the testimony that Jake put a newborn to nurse from the dead mother probably sealed George's fate. I'm serious. The heinousness of the crime has been established. For felony murder, all the jury needs to know is that George was part of the planning. Angela is doing 30 years for that. For being part of the actual murder spree, that's death penalty level horror. I'm truly not worried at all. Two eyewitnesses, the testimony of those who know how the Wagners operated like a cult, whatever forensics they have, any testimony based on wiretaps, etc., will be enough.

This is just my opinion, but there are links I am too tired to look up right now, since I was up for a few hours today. Anyway most of you have followed the hearings and read the motions and they have been posted here many times before. So JMO.

You have more confidence than I do then. Unfortunately, as far as murder goes you are not your brother's keeper, so what Jake admits he did cannot be transferred to George and you can be certain the jury is not going to hold George accountable for Jake's admitted actions. According to Jake, George can't even testify to what Jake did since he wasn't there to see it.

We have lumped this case as the W4 for so many years it's hard to let it go and consider only the evidence that pertains to George.

But remember George is the only one on trial here. Forget Jake and Angie. They have pled guilty and been sentenced already. Jake is a sick pedophile abuser who after AC's opening, I am not convinced he did not act alone in this with Angie's help planning it. Angie is an enabler and abuser and evidently spies on her son's ex's and reports back to them.

Now we need to focus on the evidence against just George. This is a man on trial for his life. The jury owes him that. And you can bet they will only be focused on what George did and only the evidence against George. So far nothing. All the state admits it has is a size 10 1/2 or size 11 bloody shoe print. One at Chris's and one at Dana's I think. The first and last place a crime took place.

Have to listen to that opening again but if AC said George was inside Frankies then where is the bloody shoe print from there? Keep in mind people the only crime scene with blood on the floor to step in was Chris's. The others were shot in bed and not moved from where they were shot. Jake admits he shot Frankie and Hazel while George was not in the bedroom. Jake admits he shot Chris Jr, Hannah and Dana. Jake says George was guarding the door to Chris Jr's bedroom but did not shoot him and did not enter the bedroom so no blood to step in there either. Jake says Billy shot Kenny while George was up the highway as look out. No blood to step in there either.

I did an experiment today. I have nothing else to do right now so I had my oldest GS go to Walmart and buy a pair of size 10 1/2 and size 11 athletic shoes and a bottle of ketchup. When he got back I told him to smear that ketchup all over my varnished wood floor. Then I told him to put on the left shoe of the 10 1/2 and step in the ketchup. I then had him to hop over to the carpet and step down on it. Repeated with the left side size 11. Then I told him to wait until it dried most of the way and measure both. He did so with a jewelry tool I use to measure width of jewelry which has MM's instead of inches. They were 1/1008 mm off. Then I made him clean it all up. lol Not a precise experiment but gives you an idea. I wish I could ask hubby who worked homicide crime scenes how accurate my experiment is but that is not possible right now. Point is that is some very thin evidence. Try it yourself and see. Costs under 25.00 to do it.

As far as George going with Angie and Jake to buy a vehicle, that's not evidence and is a non starter for me. I have went with people to buy a vehicle and I have not killed anyone.

The two vehicles with one following close behind the other could have been Jake and Angie who have confessed to this crime.

Here's hoping the state has more, like video surveillance from one of those houses that captured a clear picture of George in one of those vehicles because they sure can't place him inside the crime scenes. Or surveillance from Chris or Kenny's outside cameras placing him at the scenes. The state has admitted they do not have George's DNA at any of the crime scenes. No forensics on George at all.

No wonder Nash smiled every time AC said "they" or them". I saw him look at George and smirk while the male EMT was testifying. The male EMT made no mention of a bloody foot print by Chris Jr's bedroom and Junk did not ask him to point any out on the crime scene photos like he did with the pacifier.

BTW I have not seen anywhere that there were any eye witnesses to this crime unless you are talking about Jake who we know is a liar and who none of us trust? Or Billy who has not said a word? Angie, according to her and Jake was home in bed asleep so could not have seen a thing.

At this point after hearing all the motions and watching all the hearings in George's case, just not seeing it folks.

I am hoping and praying but not sure my hopes and prayers are going to get a conviction on George.
