I agree, we haven't seen a proof. However anything is possible.

Somebody mentioned CW. I got curious and read a few articles about him. One of them is about the outpouring of love letters from women who are attracted to notorious criminals

It's pretty appalling, no? Scott Peterson, Charlie Manson and Ted Bundy had lots of female fans, too. Go figure. I'm guessing JW will get a lot of love letters, possibly his brother, too.

Tonight at 11:00 pm eastern time on Investigation Discovery Show American Monster is the case of the couple killed in Darke County, Ohio that was solved because a 4 year old saw a "monster" in the house that was the killer in a rain suit.

Yes, I think those attorneys in the podcast linked a couple pages back were discussing this problem. Makes it very hard on defense attorneys, limits what they can say. I have to go back and listen to it again. It was packed full of a lot of good information about what to expect.

DeWine has said there’d have to be 4 trials because of the DP. Anyway print articles state he said this.

They may have dismantled them and then fled to AK, not knowing how long the bugs were there. This was right when they took off. They'd been talking revenge on LE, what they'd do if caught. I think LE needed the physical evidence, too, and, they needed them separate, but caught all at once.

No calls, no letters, no one in the same holding facility. I think this had to be laid out very well. They also had two children to think of, and people who were near them. What if they decided to pull a shootout and go out as one family?

They bring JM in to see what he knows, the Ws think, hey, we are golden, they think it's JM!! ETA; Or, Oh Crap, they know about the phone calls!! They're already in AK too, which they probably thought would be like going into hiding, only it wasn't. I think that GW4 may not have come back with the others, either, and stayed up there til he had to come down about B's family court hearing around the end of October.

I understand your theory, it's possible. JMO, they could have handled the whole thing much better. LE was very unfair to the Manleys on all this.

With Court TV returning, we know they will be in Pike county for months, if not years.

We obviously don’t know if trials (should there be any) will be televised, or not. I think lawyers of high profile cases enjoy the spotlight. I think defendants don’t, in most cases. If I had to stand trial for murder & found out it was being televised, I’d plead guilty. I can’t think of anything more humiliating than for a trial to be televised.

Some are attracted to almost any male in lock-up. If he has a decent mugshot, and writes them back, he not only has a penpal, but probably someone who will put cash on his commissary too. A caged man can't stray. Well, not in the traditional sense, but he can have more than one "penpal".

Yes, there's been some discussion though of holding the trials together with separate juries hearing the evidence for each defendant. They did this with the Menendez brothers. We'll have to see what happens. Trying to remember how long it took for the trials in the Manson murders. Yeah, this will go on for a long time.

The lawyers in the podcast seemed fairly certain the cases would be heard elsewhere, too.

Which of the 4 had the most inside knowledge of the Rhoden compound, day to day activities, layouts, etc?

Yea, I was thinking about the Menendez bros earlier.
It would def’ save a lot of resources if it could be one trial with four juries. Kinda gives me a headache tho. Think of all the jury problems, side bars, etc.

If ONE decides to plead, it changes the dynamics in a big way.

I’m surprised 4 did return for a civil matter. the State wouldn’t have spent money to brink him back. They don’t have the manpower or the money. They would have just waited for him to show up someday.

This was another custody issue though. He commented on his FB right before he came back, that B was his whole world, he didn't know what he'd do w/o him. That was 10/6/2018. AW posted on that same day, photo, bday wishes for GW4, that she loved him and was proud of him, and couldn't wait to see him on the morning of the 7th. His FB shows him and his son, and his home is listed as Kenai. I think they truly thought they'd gotten away with it, they may have destroyed the bugs, and they didn't record anything. Maybe they did have to think fast and prep the AK home. {scratches head in utter confusion}.

Know that LE was two steps ahead of the Wags before they arrived to their next destination. Homes were wired and their most private meetings were recorded. That’s why they keep referring to Informant/CI, they were wired for sound.
Welcome Woodpecker, ....I was your "first like!" Welcome aboard. Realize clues, how ever presented will be sleuthed, adnauseam by me. LOL. (example) Being an Animal Planet fan, "wood-sided homes are often the target of a woodpecker's relentless urge to peck....."
or peek?
If there are recordings going clear back to Alaska residence...great! I wish I could be a "bug on a lamp" when the info is dropped on AW & fam.

They'd been doing it all their lives, only in rural Ohio...
But they had extended family and at least the Rhoden compound to visit. And, familiarity.
When my kids turned 18 I was eager to help them find housing, pack, loan money. Whatever it took to get them out, lol

I remember.
Do you know why AW is “proud” of 4? If so, please share with me.

These two guys are what, 26 & 27, and had really never lived apart from their parents. It is a bit more typical for males to stay home til they're married, here, but I do find it unusual for the parents to move with them, when they do marry and leave home.

For awhile, at least G3 and his wife, were living in a trailer on FW's place, and the parents were living in a home just up from them, that they'd lived in for years. The trailer is gone now and you can barely tell it was there.

Maybe everyone was trying to get away from everyone else! The boys from AW and GW3, with their fiance/spouse, moved to Peterson, and the parents from FW and GWsr. So, they all end up crammed in the home on Peterson, after the boys' relationships failed.

rsd~I like your earlier post, maybe the two boys did it and the parents found out later. Expanding-is it possible that two (your choice) did plot, plan, execute & the remaining two are pulled in to this grisly mess another way? It’d make a heck of a lot more sense than to think a family of four sat around for months planning something so wicked.
We do have to keep the indictments in mind tho.
I’m eager to learn another aspect regarding motive. Because custody seems to be considered “a part” of the motive. Hopefully, we’ll one day learn the other part.
