AW & JW really was very smart on this part, they knew a day like this might come so they went to social media to put reasonably doubt in the public eyes and ears, long before and after the murders was committed, that is what they want by not letting certain evidence be shown at trial, like crime scene photos, a hung jury!

I agree with you on this. If they've been spamming social media since the murders (which seems very likely), they've been able to control public discussion about who killed the Rhodens for the last 2+ years. If a lot of locals were discussing those talking points and fake theories, it could still influence potential jurors in their favor. With LE staying quiet and releasing almost no details about the murders during that time, the W's social media spin doctoring was even more effective. JMO, the nadir of it all came when LE arrested James Manley. The damage done...

Well I have been saying all along I need evidence. And the evidence in the discovery sure does look like the le may have it jmo
Kylie's unanswered question

In the abyss of unanswered and seemingly never-ending questions, one answer may come soon for Kylie: The name of her daddy.

No father's name is listed on her birth certificate. Family and friends say her mom had been in three on-again, off-again relationships during the time in which Kylie was conceived. And two of those men said they will take paternity tests, perhaps as soon as this week, to determine paternity. They both want to raise the baby girl.

Jake Wagner, 23, said there's a 50/50 chance he's Kylie's father. He and Hanna Rhoden dated for nearly three years before they welcomed her half-sister, Sophia, now 2 1/2 years old. If Wagner is her father, that would mean her half-sister would become her full sister.

And there is nothing Wagner would like more, he said, fondly recalling how he pulled the tiny sock off her itty, bitty foot shortly after she was born on April 17. He was checking for a hammer index toe: A Wagner family trait.

He's almost sure, he said, that he saw that bend. It's the hope he holds onto these days.

But if he isn't Kylie's dad, and if the courts deem another man suitable to care for her, he will step aside -- at least partially.

"I'm not going to take her," Wagner said. "But I will want mandatory visitation in order to see her regularly."

He wants to ensure she gets to know her tow-headed big sister who loves tea parties, getting her fingernails painted and swinging and playing on the extensive play areas Wagner has built at their house. It's a home where Wagner once hoped Hanna Rhoden would come back eventually, bringing Kylie.

Regardless of what happens, Kylie and Sophia are now, and forever will be, at least half-sisters.

The girls share a bond: They lost the same mommy.

"They need each other,'' said Wagner's mom, Angela Wagner. "When they get old enough to understand, they will really need each other
This was what Mr Jake Wagner had to say right after the murders, He has no remorse, Do you think all the time the family was talking to the news people and the neighbors that it ran thru their mind that I just killed 8 human beings do you websleuthser think they where getting a rush off of the killing because they showed no remorse at all, even granny’s said little Jake had nothing to do with it (the LE had Zilch) almost like she was bragging that we got away with.

Jake Wagner appears in Pike County court for first pretrial in Rhoden family murder case

Wow! Thanks for this info! On #12, wonder why Ruger's photos are so important? Anyone's thoughts?

Ruger (the 6 mo old baby) could have fallen off the bed and injured himself. Not to mention he and HMR's baby could have been hit by the bullets shot into their parents just a few inches away. Yeah, I still can't find a good reason to not include child endangering charges, at minimum.

JMO
I agree child endangerment charges and even child battery charges could be tacked on because of hearing damage from the loud noise of guns going off. Silencers or not, that sound would be awfully too loud for a child to stand at that close range and I would not be surprised if permanent hearing damage occurred on the child.

When I was very young I could not stand even the slightest loud noises and I remember adults looking at me funny when I covered my ears to loud sounds that adults had no problem with.

As an adult, I have also been around gunfire at a gun range and getting anywhere remotely close to a weapon going off without ear protection is a terrible idea and can cause severe hearing damage. Especially if you are anywhere in front of or alongside of a barrel. If you are behind the barrel then its not nearly as bad but still can be very severe and can cause your ears to ring for a long time.

If you are lucky your hearing will eventually come back without permanent damage. If you are unlucky you will have permanent damage which can include losing the ability to hear high pitched tones as well as periodic ringing of ones ears at random times throughout your whole life.

Yes, it certainly does. The W lawyers were probably not in a good mood after going through the latest batch.

Betty P and Myland, please share the discovery info. Pretty please!
Myland, I hate to ask, but do you have a link for these? I'm assuming that, like the last batch, this info is being released to the news media and reported on.

Betty, where is it on the news, please? I've missed it all. TY

I haven't seen anything about it yet in the news media, but perhaps some of the details will be reported in the next few days. Jake Wagner's next pre-trial hearing is in 2 days, IIRC. The evidence pertains to his case, so perhaps the news media will report on it then. They did report on some of the details from the last group of discovery files, so anticipate they will do the same this time. The secrecy on this case is a bit maddening and unusual. As always.
