My hunch is that this is an angry teen boy - Columbine-like.

IMO, definitely police will apprehend the murderer & it won't take them long to do so.

Comment: Another case of how sick it is IMO that firearms are rampant in USA society.

Possibly another case of ignored mental health issues.Could have used a knife or other object,just saying.

PEEBLES – State criminal investigators are interviewing a "person of interest" detained in Chillicothe early Friday night in connection with the deaths of eight people in Pike County earlier in the day.
No further information was given, but a vehicle was stopped at Main and Watt streets at about 6:30 p.m. and officers from both the Chillicothe Police Department and Ross County Sheriff's Office detained what appeared to be two people at the scene.

What in god's name possesses people to do this ? How can a person slaughter people they've spoken to, maybe had cookouts with them, drove around or just hung out with, etc.
I'm guessing this was a relative or someone very close to them.

I wondered about this too. If a silencer wasn't used, there had to be multiple shooters because the sound of gunshots would certainly cause the other family members to wake up, right?

I have a tentative list just going off of RIP type posts on Facebook. But I don't think we are allowed to post it until they've been publicly named. I read the names won't be released until they notify family members. But I read that a couple of hours ago, so many something has been updated?

I'm always taken aback when the people doing the presser and laughing and goofing around. It's a serious situation - I wish they'd be a little less lighthearted. All you can hear is people in the background laughing and chatting. Just seems disrespectful.
