IDK how they can justify not naming them with a full description and make/model of vehicle/s.

It could be that they don't want anyone else to get to them first. That would be my guess.

Does anyone think Mrs Wagner who answered the phone fibbed to the reporter?

Shame on me. She didn't fib :blushing:

A woman who answered phone at Flying W IDed herself as Mrs. Wagner and declined comment on search there or at farm in Peebles. (2) @Enquirer

That's some mistake !!! [emoji848]

Probably a mistake that he talked about it, not that they weren't looking for suspects. Swat doesn't search for evidence, they search for people. Don't they?

oy. that's a pretty significant mis-statement. they could easily have not elaborated on what they were looking for.. instead they say people then say oops jk i meant evidence?
The SWAT team was called in to look for evidence?

No offfense to Chris Graves, but I think the Franklin County source is fibbing. He/she told the truth the first time. Why else would they bring the SWAT team? They're backtracking now because they don't want to release the names of the suspects.

It's almost like they're deliberately trying to mess this up. Like they wanted the suspects to know they were coming.

I'm still going with a connection to someone with money and power who they want to protect.

Are we allowed to talk about the person who is sitting in jail?
from what I've seen on other cases.. i think a link to public record is ok (like current inmates at X county jail) and maybe a hint like the age or initials of the person you feel is of interest. people may choose to do some research on their own but details can't be discussed here unless they are named as suspect or POI.

eta: i haven't followed this case very closely so if everyone already knows who the person in jail is, this post doesn't really apply.

Yea well now we don't know how much of that is true :gaah:

As usual, DeWine & Reader seem ok with letting dangerous people run around free. Recall them telling everyone in Pike County they were safe after 8 people were murdered in their sleep?

Okay everybody, let's make a list of what they could be digging for. My mind is going in all directions :scared:
Blood-splattered clothing
Dropped bullets or casings from target practice or shooting varmints to match them with those from the victims and crime scene.
Guns

Woah ... Franklin County spokesman says he was wrong: They were not looking for people, but for evidence in Rhoden case. @enquirer
I don't believe it!!Reader probably freaked because he said that so now he's is retracting it. They know what/who they are looking for!
