They have a large extended family that rely on the properties. The properties are always needing something fixed, the family was'nt bringing in alot of money from steady employment. If there is no employment, any income is better than none.
did you see my comment about that electric line cut out in the woods?
Just a heads up. Added photos of the victims and the residences to the map markers, for reference.
Is there anything at all I can add to the map at this point to make it more helpful?
I've never had a car I had to drill holes in and we don't have to have front tags. All my cars have holes for tags in the front.
They were living a risky lifestyle, but you know many like this don't think they are over their heads or in danger.I don't buy into the all about family thing. I don't know why they were murdered but they were involved in some illegal activities and I think it's sad that they subjected children to that. They were living a risky lifestyle just based on the fact they had 3 drug grow ops alone. Did they deserve to die? No. But they obviously made some very poor choices.
Nope haven't had a VW. I've had a couple of sports cars and just regular cars and they've had the holes there. You've never had a Volkswagen then. lol
That is the only house that was locked and no kids in that house. Last, we did hear, there was forced entry in two houses.
Others houses might have been locked but so far nothing to tell us they were. Family went in all 4 locations before the police got there.
If your dog knows the person who comes onto the property then they most likely will not bark nor act aggressive toward them.Because it's usually the guard dog's job to run off critters and trespassers.
What is your Donald Stone theory based on?
This was also a fairly young family. They may have planned on building a house at some point. Chris Sr just got the property like 10 yrs ago if I'm not mistaken. My parents are in their 50's and just built their first home a few years ago. We had a doublewide on the land that's been in the family since the 1960's. They have a decent income and it still took them 20+ years to finally build.Trailer isn't NY choice, but I've seen some nice trailers in actual gated, secured, trailer parks..

While those campers aren't made to be a home, you'd be surprised how many people have these as permanent dwellings in the country.
Serious question, and I mean no offense to anyone who lives in a trailer. Why would anyone who isn't poor CHOOSE to live in a trailer? 3 of these homes were trailers and one was a camper. Why wouldn't they buy actual homes? Don't people know that those things blow away in a tornado?! (Xenia isn't far from there and they had a horrible tornado tragedy years back.) Do you all think they lived in trailers so that the continued to LOOK poor? Was it a perception thing? Wearing a poverty mask, of sorts? If not, then I have to think that they really were poor (maybe with a newfound income sources suddenly producing quite a bit of cash). The whole thing just confuses me.
We bought ours new in 2013 and it has no drill holes.I've never had a car I had to drill holes in and we don't have to have front tags. All my cars have holes for tags in the front.
I have been 10 pages behind all day. Ugh. Sorry for being a late responder. You made me think of something. Does Kenneth have a real house somewhere? Was this just his hunting camper that he was staying in for a short spell? This type of camper isn't meant to be a residence. I wonder if he owns a home back in KY. And if so, why was he in Piketon and how long he had been there?
Just got home from being out all day... going to catch up now!
