They have a large extended family that rely on the properties. The properties are always needing something fixed, the family was'nt bringing in alot of money from steady employment. If there is no employment, any income is better than none.

I don't buy into the all about family thing. I don't know why they were murdered but they were involved in some illegal activities and I think it's sad that they subjected children to that. They were living a risky lifestyle just based on the fact they had 3 drug grow ops alone. Did they deserve to die? No. But they obviously made some very poor choices.

Just a heads up. Added photos of the victims and the residences to the map markers, for reference.
Is there anything at all I can add to the map at this point to make it more helpful?

maybe the times of alleged discovery of each crime scene? If it's not too much trouble.

They were living a risky lifestyle, but you know many like this don't think they are over their heads or in danger.

That is the only house that was locked and no kids in that house. Last, we did hear, there was forced entry in two houses.

Others houses might have been locked but so far nothing to tell us they were. Family went in all 4 locations before the police got there.

Sorry if already corrected but I am trying to catch up - we didn't hear that there was forced entry in two houses. All we heard was that two houses did not have forced entry. Some people have inferred this to mean the other two houses did have forced entry but that may or may not be correct.

Because it's usually the guard dog's job to run off critters and trespassers.
If your dog knows the person who comes onto the property then they most likely will not bark nor act aggressive toward them.

What is your Donald Stone theory based on?

His own words. His story does not make any sense. We need more details from him. I don't think I am allowed to go into it further because I can't accuse someone that isn't a named POI.

But let me try by saying this... Watch the Fox 19 interview with him talking on camera and tell me what your gut says about his demeanor in that interview.

Then go read his quotes in the 2 Daily Mail stories about him. Think about his story. REALLY think about it. Why would he feel the need to say some of the things he said (without being asked).

ETA: By the way, before I saw that video interview with him, I trusted him. Seeing him talk changed my mind.

Trailer isn't my choice, but I've seen some nice trailers in actual gated, secured, trailer parks..

For the record.. I own my house and car, paid cash for them because I saved and invested. I have zero debt.

I have relatives that live in trailers that could buy my house and car 4 times over with the money found in their sock drawer.

I know a man who lived in a run down 2 story house for many yrs. had 8 old cars in his back yard, a 40 ford coupe in the garage.

He worked hard for 30 yrs, retired and 3 yrs later died. Union worker. Made good money.

He left an estate over $250,000. Absolutely no drugs involved.

He was divorced with 4 adult children.

Drove an ole 50's pickup truck that his grandkids loved to ride in but his dau was kinda embarrassed of.

Always wore flannel shirts in winter black t shirts in summer with jeans.

His wants were never greater than his needs.

Maybe a man thing

The men an FR lived in lesser looking trailers, Danas looked really nice even though it wasn't new she was trying to fix it up, landscape nice ETC.

The price of a nice double wide with improved lots, like out buildings and such can go for over 100,000.00 around here. EASILY. Believe me when I say there are plenty o' times I would love to trade in my house that was built in 1936 ( that I just had to have!) In on one. Lol

This was also a fairly young family. They may have planned on building a house at some point. Chris Sr just got the property like 10 yrs ago if I'm not mistaken. My parents are in their 50's and just built their first home a few years ago. We had a doublewide on the land that's been in the family since the 1960's. They have a decent income and it still took them 20+ years to finally build.

My dogs bark at everyone that comes on my property. The ONLY people they don't bark at are my husband and myself. And I have people to my house all the time. They still bark.

While those campers aren't made to be a home, you'd be surprised how many people have these as permanent dwellings in the country.

But his wasn't an RV (responding to 2 comments because you both said the same thing). RVs like the type that rock stars use are really nice, and very expensive. His was a 5th wheel - you can't drive it. It attaches to the back of the pickup truck. It is smaller and not as nice. (From what I can tell from the helicopter shots). I just wonder if anyone has any record of him owning a home somewhere. He did at one point have a wife and 2 kids.

Also, that camper he lived in is mobile, so how long had it been there? Is it possible to check Google Maps from 2015, 2014, 2013, etc. to see roughly when it showed up there?

Serious question, and I mean no offense to anyone who lives in a trailer. Why would anyone who isn't poor CHOOSE to live in a trailer? 3 of these homes were trailers and one was a camper. Why wouldn't they buy actual homes? Don't people know that those things blow away in a tornado?! (Xenia isn't far from there and they had a horrible tornado tragedy years back.) Do you all think they lived in trailers so that the continued to LOOK poor? Was it a perception thing? Wearing a poverty mask, of sorts? If not, then I have to think that they really were poor (maybe with a newfound income sources suddenly producing quite a bit of cash). The whole thing just confuses me.

Might be taxes are cheaper and didn't want the expense of building a house.
Dunno

I've never had a car I had to drill holes in and we don't have to have front tags. All my cars have holes for tags in the front.
We bought ours new in 2013 and it has no drill holes.

I have been 10 pages behind all day. Ugh. Sorry for being a late responder. You made me think of something. Does Kenneth have a real house somewhere? Was this just his hunting camper that he was staying in for a short spell? This type of camper isn't meant to be a residence. I wonder if he owns a home back in KY. And if so, why was he in Piketon and how long he had been there?

Just got home from being out all day... going to catch up now!

I am having difficulty remembering who is who and the names.

My understanding is Kenneth works in Columbus. He was suppose to go to an Auction in Columbus next day with (DS?).
I read somewhere he might have been sleeping in the camper to watch out for the Cannabis grow operation.
Gary came from KY to help CR SR with some cars.
