Stark County deputies searching for missing woman, suspect boyfriend

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing woman and her boyfriend after he fled deputies.

Just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Stark County sheriff’s deputies were called to investigate in the 4100 block of Orchard Dale Drive NW in Plain Township.

After searching the area, investigators were unable to find 24-year-old Raychel Sheridan, of Plain Township, who was entered into a national database for missing persons.

During the investigation, deputies say they noticed a maroon Jeep Liberty, believed to be registered in Sheridan’s name, heading down Guilford Avenue NW.

Sheriff’s deputies stopped the vehicle, but the driver, identified as 26-year-old Sean Goe, of Plain Township, ran off on foot, the sheriff’s office said.

While at the scene, deputies observed a maroon Jeep Liberty, believed to be registered to Sheridan, traveling on Guilford Ave NW in Plain Township. They initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, 26-year-old Sean Goe, also of Plain Township. Goe fled on foot, prompting deputies to pursue and deploy a K-9 unit. Despite their efforts, they were unable to locate him. Goe was last seen in the area of 38th Street NW and Guilford Ave NW.

Goe has active warrants for burglary (F2), grand theft of a firearm (F3), and domestic violence (M3). He is wanted for questioning in connection with Sheridan’s disappearance.

His recent charges were criminal damaging following charges in May of criminal damaging AND domestic violence. One of many charges including, falsification, burglary, theft, receiving stolen property.

My heart just hurts for this young woman.
