Are there ever undercover stings (no pun intended for real), or does LE try to bust these people?
It just seems so obvious!

Oh yeah. At least around my neck of the woods they are. I live in a smaller town and I've in the past year have seen many 15/16 girls being busted. Most of them seem to have an older woman with that gets the trafficking charge. And most teen girls are from bigger cities like st. Paul MN or Milwaukee, Chicago. So at leat around here they are busting them left and right. But not sure about other areas.

It seems much more likely to me that she probably came to harm by someone she knew. Leaving her car makes no sense if she was taken for trafficking...it is like announcing she is gone/missing. And I believe most girls are probably chronic runaways who end up in a position to be trafficked, not suburban high schoolers, but jmo.

Yeah. I agree with you about Annie Jo in this case. But I do think trafficking is on the rise and with that we are gonna maybe see a few kidnappings so idk its worth exploring the idea. And the fact that her brother said something about Annie Jo being approached by woman about modeling is a good enough reason to check it out.

But your right things with Annie Jo do seem to point to someone she knows doing something to her or a stranger did but not for trafficking reasons. I just hope her mother has answers soon. :(

Partying in a college town, a beautiful young woman can be a target. It happens fast and easy. Someone offers you a drink and in a few minutes you're passing out. It's usually a group of young men working together. It happens every day in towns all across the country. Date rape drugs are widely available and she may have been a victim of this type of assault. Often the girl is released because she has no memory of her attackers. In this case, she may have known them and so they had to dispose of her. These creepy guys often video the attack as well.

"Although a large segment of society focuses on rape where the perpetrator is a stranger, the majority of rape cases involve a victim who was previously acquainted with the perpetrator. Rapists plan their attacks in advance, and are looking for opportunities to assault victims." http://www.wikihow.com/Prevent-Date-Rape

Would be nice if a press conference were held... wonder if assistance from FBI and/or Secret Service has been requested (they can help with surveillance and CCTV analysis I believe) --- surveillance tapes seem so very important... Also behavior analysis of those who were with her last...

Oklahoma!! What is wrong with you people? I always thought that driving through there was peace and quiet and it was so open, but good grief!

Maybe a lot of teens want out of Oklahoma? It does not seem like a very welcoming place for teens who may not be mainstream, but Jmo....I am sure, like anyplace, there are parts that are more liberal/less religious etc...but overall it seems like a very conservative place that teens may want out of. Again...jmo.

I just added four more girls, three from OKC and one from Lawton. I think we now have a thread of all the missing girls within the last year from OKC/Tulsa area.

Went out to dinner last night and saw Annie Jo on the billboard on Northwest Expressway. It's an electronic billboard and I believe she's appearing on electronic billboards all around the metro, not just this one location, so that's good.

This is the first missing person case I've followed where there's been no ground searching. I know family members searched the park looking for her phone, but have heard no mention of bringing in CUE or Texas Equusearch or calling for volunteers to search the woods and walk the creeks looking for any sign of Annie Jo. Only asking for help to pass out flyers. Am not sure what to make of that.

I hope Annie Jo's family is being kept in the loop better than the public is. Mom knew nothing about the car or it's contents. They have done searches with warrants, yet have said nothing. No searches have been announced. I know TES only comes if LE asks, but does CUE do the same? Somebody needs to be out looking. Maybe they think she was taken away by car, and that it's a needle in the haystack thing. But just wow.Her family has really worked hard, and I hope something breaks soon for them.

Maybe they have reason to believe she is still alive ? :please:

I can't shake the car being abandoned. It repeats on my mind. I just can't see her leaving her car even if she is alive and well.

How do we know she didn't just park her car there and she was hiding out in a home in the immediate area? Have we heard how long the car had been parked there?

Find Anne Hill Updated flyer showing when and where Anne's car was found and a photo of car. Need to get this highly relevant info out there. Someone may have seen something such as who left the car there, etc.
