•5 feet 8 inches and weighing 135 lbs
•brown hair and hazel eyes


•last seen at around 10:35 a.m. on July 29 in the Ardmore WalMart parking lot
•was seen getting into a small, white SUV as a passenger. The SUV reportedly exited the parking lot and traveled north on Commerce Street

~Christopher was last seen at the Walmart on N. Commerce Street in Ardmore at approximately 3 p.m.

~Video surveillance shows Christopher getting into a White extended cab pickup truck with an unknown individual.

~His wife Kyla, last spoke to him at approximately 12 p.m. and states nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

~The Ardmore Police Department found Christopher‘s loaner car he was driving from the Car dealership he works at parked in a parking space at the Ardmore Walmart.

~When conducting a search of the vehicle authorities found the keys in the ignition and his cellphone in the glove box.

~According to his wife Kyla authorities state they found a “Farewell Message “ in the notes app on Christopher’s phone.

~Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding Christopher’s whereabouts to contact the Ardmore Police Department at (580)-233-1212

Keys and phone left in car not a good sign. Not something you'd do if you were coming back.

Very strange case. Hope he somehow comes to his senses and returns home safe soon.

I’m not sure where he lived in okc, but the drive to Ardmore from OKC is not one I would want to make with any regularity. It says it’s an 1.5 hr drive. خرائط ‪Google‬‏‏

I’m wondering if the farewell note was an “I’m leaving” note and not a suicide type note. He doesn’t seem to be the type to stick with anything a really long time. I don’t think he worked at the dealership very long either. Court records show a release of garnishment in 2017 to Dell, inc.

If there was truly a “farewell” not a suicide type note will be interesting to see what type of involvement LE takes. People going missing willingly really need to make it clear. I hope willingly is the case here as it seems to me.

MOO- He wanted the car found so he parked it where there were cameras. Left keys in ignition. Wanted phone found but not stolen so left in glovebox. Want note found so left in notes. Just didn’t want to tell anyone he loved, and didn’t want to pay anymore child support or alimony, imho. The only thing that bugs me is the extended cab white truck. Girls do drive those in that area, but seems more likely to be a man picking him up which doesn’t fit for me.

if you look at the family photo of 2016, and the youngest is presently 4, Chris is not the bio dad of those in the photo imo
next photo, 2016, with the ultrasound "baby due in June" is their present day child 4 years old

This is heartbreaking for his wife.

Could it be he is just overwhelmed, with Covid and all, and needs a break for himself?

According to a report from the Ardmore Police Department, Burkhammer was seen getting into a small, white SUV as a passenger. The SUV reportedly exited the parking lot and traveled north on Commerce Street.

According to APD, no foul play has been indicted in the investigation at this time.

Christopher Burkhammer, 35, of Oklahoma City was last seen in the Ardmore Walmart parking lot on Wednesday morning, according to a news release from the Ardmore Police Department.

Burkhammer entered a small white SUV as a passenger at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday. He hasn’t been seen since, according to the news release. The SUV exited the parking lot and traveled north on Commerce.

Burkhammer is an employee of Patriot Chevrolet in Ardmore, but lives in Oklahoma City with his wife and children.

“At this time, no foul play has been indicated in the investigation,” the news release states.

Burkhammer is described as 5’8″ tall, 135 pounds and as having brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone who has information about Burkhammer’s whereabouts is asked to call detective Travis Shields at (580) 221-2569.

He has 2 previous divorces, kids with both. According to filings, he was pretty far behind in child support. There were also allegations he pretty much abandoned one set of kids not paying support or exercising his parenting time.
