What is meant by writ of prohibition?

Held without bond.

Court denies defendant's motion to dismiss. Preliminary hearing was waived. Next arraignment hearing on 10/28/21 @ 1:30pm. Court in receipt of defendant's brief & state's response to said brief. Parties given a copy of court's written decision denying defendant's jurisdictional motion to dismiss in open court; defendant stricken from McGirt docket.
