His initials are IR and according to Noah's family he has kept in contact with the family.
It's rural Oklahoma and IR was one of three teens who had a pew pew out there that night.
Thanks! Glad he keeps in touch with the family, that sounds like it's a good thing.

And forgive my ignorance... what is a pew pew? The gun? Fight or game or something? I'm a Canadian west coaster so not many guns where I live or they are on the down low lol but understand they are more common in different areas.

Sounds like 3 teens had rifle type guns that night? I have heard theories about golf club used as a weapon or butt of a gun for that awful scalp/head wound... I imagine LE have looked into all those possibilities.

I think it's slang for having words or altercation. And if used when texting on your iPhone, there's this...

What does pew pew mean on iPhone?

'Pew Pew' Typing in "pew pew" will shoot laser beams out from your text. If you unexpectedly see laser beams next time you text "pew pew," don't worry, your phone hasn't been hacked.

Thank you for the laser beams!
Just tried it.

To help bring the 19-year-old's family justice, a Duncan woman is offering to pay for legal...

Jan Fiorillo said she felt connected to Presgrove after hearing his life’s story, leading her to create an offer to pay for the legal representation of the first person with viable information that will help make a breakthrough in the case.

She said she wants to make sure that both Noah, and whoever decides to come forward, are protected during this process.

“I’m really just a victim’s advocate,” Fiorillo said. “And wanting to ensure that even the people that come forward that may have something, that their rights are protected as well.”

It’s now August 25th…. Does that mean no one took her up on the offer or would it still be hush hush for now?

What a remarkable thing to do.

[..]

Presgrove was a popular four-sport athlete at Comanche. He played football, ran cross country and track, and wrestled. He was a state qualifier in both wrestling and track, finishing third in his weight class at the state wrestling meet in 2023.

“Noah was a good kid,” said Jason Miller, who coached Presgrove in cross country and track. “I always enjoyed coaching him. He always did what I asked of him and he didn’t complain. I think he was a free soul. I think he saw the world differently than most of the other athletes. He was so laid back.”

Miller said the only time he remembered Presgrove telling him he was nervous was after Presgrove cleared 6-0 in the high jump at the state track meet.

“His nonchalant approach in that event always had other coaches watching him,” Miller said. “I just picture him coming to practice on his skateboard. I never heard him utter a bad word about anyone. He was fun to be around.”
Casy Rowell, Presgrove’s football and wrestling coach, also had high praise for his former athlete.

“I got to be a part of Noah’s life for the past seven years through teaching and coaching,” Rowell said in a Facebook post. “He was one of a kind and he would have fought a bear for me. I would have done the same for him. This one hits hard and I am still in disbelief.”

A Facebook post by Comanche Public Schools said school-based counselors would be available to support students and staff.

Approaching the one year anniversary, bumping some words by Coach Miller-- recalling Noah arriving practice on his skateboard -- a kid who his Coach never heard utter a bad word about anyone, and who was fun to be around.

The offers she posted online were removed several days before the deadline.
If that's the case, my guess is she had someone contact her about her offer. It did say "This offer is only valid to the first person coming forward to participate as a state's witness".

So.... maybe she got her wish and someone decided to accept her offer. :) If so, and that's why I'm guessing the offer was removed before the deadline, I sure hope she got someone really credible and with really good info for the state. Fingers crossed!

Bingham declined to share more details but says, “We’re inching closer.”

“We won’t stop,” Dailen adds, “until Noah has justice.”

I hope so! As we are very quickly coming up on the one year anniversary of his passing, I am just hoping and praying for answers for his family and everyone who loved him.

I'm used to "pew pew" just referring to plinking with a gun, usually carelessly, though I admit I missed the context where "pew pew" came up

The People coverage and now cover has definitely brought a lot of new attention to the case. I hope the PI is correct and answers come soon.

Nothing unknown in the link but more photos and screenshots of texts I've not seen before.

From your link:

Presgrove's best friend Jack Newton said he happened upon the scene about 6am as he left to go fishing with his father Caleb, whom he called at 6.05am.

However, another teenager who was at the party claimed in a leaked interview with police that Jack knew Presgrove was dead an hour earlier.

'Jack Newton bursts through the door saying 'Noah is dead'. Like, frantic, tearing up,' Kaden Pressy, 20, told detectives.

'He slammed through the door… and he ran back out the door immediately. I look at my phone, because I felt like I just went to sleep, and it was 5.15am.'
