Given WR's background, it's possible he was noticeably impaired and legally should not be driving. Seems that would be a big influence as LE really would then have to arrest WR not just for DUI, but child endangerment. Just speculation, of course, on another possible reason for LEO perhaps appearing to be unfairly on the side of TA.
Interesting on this after reading again……. if I understand, (in third paragraph on page 2), TA’s son is indicating in his statement to officials that his grandmother is not truthful in one of her statements to authorities and he is denying that a conversation she described had occurred??!! SMH.

If not from excessive force (which I don't think happened here), it can happen if the head flies off the wooden handle because of age or cheap construction. I had a hammer in a tool set given as a gift whose metal handle bent after, well, I can't remember, but it wasn't long in use. As to why they left it, they're not the...sharpest tools in the shed.

I really hand it to her. Growing up in that environment, the influences, her mother, etc., she really has developed her own sense of morality. No doubt she is intelligent and self aware. She will go far, I wish her the best.
Not sure about that. The others assumably had plenty of opportunities to squash this idea and go to LE. They participated in the murder of 2 women! I say death for all.
If we did not know about VB and JK, seeing someone "open carry" in Oklahoma would probably not raise a lot of eyebrows.
The affidavit states that she was questioned over the border in TX, so probably at the home of her father or another family member. Smart of her to make sure she was away from C&C before saying anything, for her own safety.
