The McIntosh County Sheriff’s Department is currently conducting a search for Zaiven Wyatt Houke (Age 4) who went missing from his residence located near the community of Emerald Bay, west of Checotah. Zaiven is 3’6” tall, weighs approx. 50 pounds, hazel eyes and blonde hair. Zaiven was last seen only wearing a blue and white diaper. Zaiven is non verbal. If you have seen or know the whereabouts of Zaiven, contact 911 immediately.

Oh, dear, another scary 4 y/o missing -- he's a cute little guy.
He could really get into trouble quickly. If people approach him, how will he react? Does he understand conversation, etc., even though he cannot verbalize? Can he make sounds even without speech? If he's hiding or lost, I hope he can somehow let people know where he is if he's not afraid to do that. This is dire. Hoping he hasn't been harmed already...

Zaiven was last seen wearing a blue and white pull-up, no shoes and no other clothing. He was last seen at his residence in Emerald Bay around 11 a.m. on Monday.

Zaiven is autistic and non-verbal. There is no known direction of travel.

Oh, no. Kids are fast. When my daughter (who has autism) was 3, we had to add extra locks to the doors up high so she wouldn’t get out of the house alone.

He may be hiding. So scary. Praying for his safe return.

I hope he comes home safe. My son is a little older but also autistic and mostly non speaking..I can only imagine how scared this little guy must be

Even a "normal" 4-year-old would be in terrible danger if they went missing. Such a cute little boy, and I hope he's curled up somewhere under a bush, hungry and thirsty but missing his family.

Emerald Bay is in a wooded area, right on the shore of Lake Eufaula, a very large reservoir. Several people there have docks with boardwalks leading to them.

Emerald Bay appears to also have a golf course running through it and lots of water surrounding the community. I have been unable to figure out from where exactly Zaiven may be missing. Hopefully as far away from the water as possible!

I wish we had more info. How did he go missing? Who saw him last? Where? Did he get out of the house on his own? Has he done this before? I don’t think I can take another precious little boy gone too soon.
