I really would like to know why George barged into the news conference today? What is he afraid of Nejame saying? Odd...really odd.

Good question - I wanna know too!! You know it wasn't good if he barged in. Fear has a way of making folks do some strange things. I'm sure whatever it was though, Cindy was probably behind it. I'm sure though our trusty news reporters (that I think does an awesome job of keeping us informed!) will get to the bottom of this by the time the 6 o'clock news roll around! :woohoo:

For now though, can anyone describe it? I was working and missed it. I am assuming it was caught by the media, yes?

I wonder if this presser, its lack of publicity (meaning that there was one), lack of cameras, etc...was to bait GA into storming down there (and it may not have even been Najame who was the baitor in this)...I don't know. The one article in our today's news would indicate (Najame to reveal more of what he knows...etc...from central florida news) that GA stormed in out of fear/anger or both...hmmm...This was hardly a typical presser...hardly. It barely registered a blip on the news...so it indicates...that the A's are very tuned into to any news coverage on this case however slight...whether it is by internet or television.

Perhaps Mr. NeJame didn't check with GA before he scheduled his press conference....it's all about the A's....and DON'T you forget that !!!
And, on that note.....does GA realize he made himself look like a big donkey's butt....AGAIN !!!

As intermezzo said to me in another thread about hoping that BC knows he looks as foolish as his clients.....

That remark of George's...."we've joined an elite group" really bothered me too. I am the mother of a murdered daughter and I certainly don't consider the group I belong to elite and I sure didn't join it by choice. We are probably being really nit picky and George probably didn't mean it like we took it but it kind of threw me when he said that. Sure nothing that anyone wants to brag about.

I was working at a drug/alcohol treatment center when my daughter was murdered. My pic was in the paper several times with quotes from me. One day I was outside to have a cig and one of the counselors was out there too. He looked at me and said "your becoming quite the celebrity!" I just looked at him and said "not by choice!" I just couldn't believe he was ignorant enough to make that remark.

That remark from GA bothered me too. I just can't imagine being in his shoes, and even thinking about that. I don't know what date that convo took place but I am pretty sure it was early on. Why would such a thought even come into your head at that point? I just don't understand the timing of it. I can see thinking it later on down the line, but not in the middle of "it".

Isn't it amazing the remarks some people make? I'm not talking about truly caring people who say something before thinking it through, we all do that once in a while, but there are people who are just mean and rude out there! JMO

IIRC: George said that to Casey during the jailhouse visit. It has always bothered me too. I think it shows his mindset. IMO, George has enjoyed the sympathy. The kind words. A feeling of belonging. Barf. :yuck::yuck:

Also: he was counting his chickens before they hatched: Caylee had not been found yet. Part of an elite group of people who had their granddaughter kidnapped by a nanny? No. He knew she was gone.

I misread a headline today as saying that TM was releasing pics of Caylee's remains rather than what it really said Caylee's Remains Site. I wonder if JB gave George the same misinformation?

That sounds plausible! I would hate to think that JB would intentionally mislead GA - that would be cruel to toy with him that way, especially if his emotional state is still fragile.

Even if that was true, MN is a standup attorney and he knows what is privileged info and what isn't. He quit representing the A's because he didn't want to associate himself with them. If he had info on them and could indeed have disclosed it, he would have. Long before this.

Add to this, MN would surely have consulted with BC and the A's if in fact he was going to "spill" his knowledge.

This has JB's desperation written all over it.

Question I have for BC is why weren't you there when GA walked into the room instead of arriving afterwards? Can't control your client, huh. Good luck in the trial.

2 things about GA interrupting MN's press conference - my opinion only of course

1) I believe that JB is behind it - that he was concerned that MN would tell something that would incriminate KC and "inspired" GA to confront MN about lawyer/client privilege - but since the info MN was releasing dealt with his client TE and wasn't breaking any privilege there was nothing that Camp KC could do to stop it

2) After hearing GA's comments afterwards, I am more convinced than ever that he has accepted the fact that KC is responsible for Caylee's death but like the rest of us, he is still in the dark about the details. He said that he needed to know what happened to Caylee and Cindy needed to know what happened and his son needed to know but he did not say anything about KC needing to know. Why not? Because he has finally accepted that KC does know and is responsible. He probably has not reached the point where he accepts that it was intentional and may not ever be able to accept that - but leaving her out of the list of those members of his family who "need to know what happened" tells me he knows she knows. And I think that's a step in the right direction despite his barging in on the press conference today.

He must have been incited to the nth degree. He truly wasn't thinking clearly...which IMO is still no excuse to do what he did. Do these folks not understand what the word "proper" means?
