Why did they say ICA asked AH to watch Caylee while she worked at Sports Authority?

Trying to cram the entire case into a one hour with commercials program is nearly impossible, but they did a fairly good job. I question two things though, as some have pointed out above:

1) They said Casey asked Amy to babysit Caylee so she could work at Sports Authority, then Amy tried to call Casey there and found out she didn't work there. She confronted Casey, who told Amy they just made a mistake. -- I thought that was Lauren that used to babysit Caylee till she found out Casey wasn't really working? The Sports Authority thing happened before she even met Amy, am I wrong?

2) When they talked about Cindy finding pictures of Casey partying on the internet and confronted her with "So you were working, huh?", they showed the party pics from June. Those were not the pictures Cindy found, it was from the Anything But Clothes party, where Casey was wrapped in the American Flag. Not that it's a big deal, except that when they talk about the party pics later, it lessens the impact.

Other than that, worth the watch.

The BIO Channel did mess up on the Sports Authority incident. Lauren Gibbs did babysit Caylee at the Anthony home. There was a time while babysitting Caylee, that Lauren need to speak to Casey for some reason and she called the store and they told her that nobody named Casey worked at the store. Lauren confided in another mutual friend Melina Calabrese about the incident and Melina encouraged Lauren to confront Casey about it. Casey said that it was a communication problem at the store.

Lauren and Melina both told LE about that incident. They had been friends with Casey since middle school or high school and I don't think they knew Ricardo, Amy or Troy.

Another goof on the BIO special was that it was mentioned that Casey and Amy became friends in 2007, I thought they didn't meet until early 2008 IIRC.

What is all the evidence that we know of for the fight?

I know only this:

JG said LA told him about it (both Lee and Cindy deny it).
Mark Fuhrman says a neighbor told him he heard fighting.
Pam Plesea says they fought after their mom Shirley told Cindy about stolen bank funds and then she confronted Casey (but this is problematic because Shirley had said she told Cindy and Casey over the phone in April/May about it, so if they did fight it was not over hearing that issue for the first time)

Shirley also turned over her emails from June to July 2008.

She said in an email on or around June 16th... that when Cindy woke up the morning of the 16th the car, Casey and Caylee were gone.

Then from that point on it was talk about how they couldn't find them... that Casey would come home because she couldn't take care of Caylee alone, etc.

I'd have to go look and see exactly what she said about the night before. I know she mentioned them visiting for Father's Day. I don't remember if she mentioned the fight in those emails or not.

Hmmmm......about at the 11:29 or 1/2 point, it says on July 15 something about searches starting and there is a picture with the police in the front yard of the home BUT what is throwing me off is the picture........the garage door is DOWN.......I always thought that everyone said they were going in and out through the garage and no one said anything about the smell (it was a big point that jose made during the trial).......does anyone know if and when that picture was really taken????????

I believe Amy was part of the "new group" of people Casey was hanging out with, so it could not have been Amy she asked to babysit while she was "working" at the Sports Authority.

IIRC it was LG who got mad when she realized CA was out partying with friends when she said she was working. Might be something in the Who's Who thread.

I watched the Bio show. I thought all in all it was good, except for the obvious mistakes on some of the facts. While watching it, it struck me that something somebody (one of the THs) said earlier was very true. They don't need FCA to tell the story. There is enough out there to write a book, make a movie, etc. The only point of view FCA could give would be "this is how and why I killed Caylee" and we all know she will never do that. So short of that, anything she says can be taken for lies (MORE lies) as the facts are already there.
I do wonder after watching the interviews with Kiomarie, just why she wasn't put on the stand. There must be something hinky there, because had she told the story of FCA saying she DID NOT want the baby, and that she wanted to adopt her out but Cindy wouldn't have it....it would have shown a lot.
But as I told my daughter, I don't think even if more facts had been brought in for the jury to consider, it would have made ONE BIT OF DIFFERENCE. That "foreman" evidently wanted to see a fingerprint on the duct tape before he would convict. Sickening. Still.

Very interesting show on now about Casey on Bio. Ten minutes in and Cindy is pegged as an "enabler" and "co-dependant". So far no BS. Thought ya'll might be interested.

There are so many wrongs in this bio, it is just obvious that they put it together quickly. Fanning says Amy H. use to babysit for KC and found she was not working at the Sports Authority and confronted her. Firstly, Amy did not know her then; Secondly, it was Lauren Gibbs I believe who confronted KC and stopped babysitting for her when she found out she was lying about working there.

Fanning says the first time Lee found out about the impending birth of Caylee was when KC delivered in the hospital. We know that is wrong because he says on the stand he confronted KC when she was coming out of the bathroom and saw her "stomach" and said "what is that". Then he confronted his mother who said "leave it alone". This was around April or so and she had to have been about four months pregnant.

Fanning has a book out which I would not even attempt to read because of the misstatements this woman makes. Just my opinion.

The case has been all over the networks and to get these "facts" wrong is just inexcusable.

Brad C. the Anthony's former attorney is interesting in that he shows his contempt for KC. He, by the way, was on HLN last week and said KC will have a very hard time in that she is unemployable and a liar and there is no way she can stay out of sight for long and "they will find her" whereever she goes. He apparently has a real distaste for KC.

I thought Cindy said she heard them "breathing" through the door when she left on the morning of the 16th?

And also, it was not Amy, as far as I remember, who called her out on the job, it was the other girl, Lauren? The free babysitter. I did read Fanning's book and think she had the facts straight in the book, as far as I know. Casey did not meet Amy until early 2008, they had only been friends for some months. I think the exagerated the bit about when Lee actually "knew" about the pregnancy for dramatic purposes for the show.

What channel was the show you watched on? This was a "Biography" episode on the Bio channel...are you talking about the one on UD channel, if so that is a different one.

Another mistake by Fanning re no. 2 above. She doesn't even check to make sure what she is saying is correct. Totally unprofessional.

I've read through a lot email, but don't recall that one from Shirley. Do you have a link or a date of the email?

I noticed some posts about Kio and why didn't testify in court. I agree with another poster her testimony might have been hearsay. Also Kio sold a story to a tabloid. She might not have been viewed as credible by prosecutors. I have read some of the transcripts of Kio with police and some things she said sounded odd. She even said she wanted to adopt Casey's child or something.

Kio told Joyce and Bailey Dickens who also live on Hopespring about her past with Casey. Joyce and Bailey were interviewed by LE. They said shortly after Casey's disappearance was made public that Kio visited them. She told them about how Casey having a shaky relationship with George and Cindy. She also said that Casey told her that Cindy spent time in a psych ward. Kio also told them about the swamp.

In one of the jailhouse tapes, it seems that Cindy knew about the psych ward story or rumor because she asks Casey, about a "Tia Torres" who lives in the neighborhood . Casey said she didn't know anyone with that name and Cindy then said something about "Tia" saying that Cindy was in a psych ward.

I think the prosecutors likely figured out that the A's were onto some of the things Kio told the LE and other people in the neighborhood. They felt have felt the need to keep neighborhood gossip out of the courtroom. I have a feeling a lot of the neighbors knew something was up with the A's. There was neighbor named Jean who said he saw Cindy and Casey fighting one time. The Dickens couple said that Brian Burner said that Cindy wasn't friendly with him or his wife.

The defense didn't want it introduced. Your reading is very strained. The most natural reading of the "trusted" part is that it's referring to her trust of Casey. And from other evidence, there is no doubt Cindy had no idea Caylee was dead.
