The wedding's not in a Federal building, is it?I will definitely avoid Idaho County as much as possible, however my niece is getting married there in June and I can't miss it.
Isn't this sedition/treason??? Anybody know?BBM. This guy is dangerous. I think the FBI needs to have a talk with Sheriff Doug and set him straight on who has more authority on Federal property. He thinks he knows better than the sheriff of Harney/Burns county and he's basically inciting people to take over federal property in Idaho by telling them they will only face a $300 fine and he won't arrest them!!!
Brandon Dowd, a black occupier profiled by the Guardian, has not been named in the federal indictment. But he was recently arrested on an unrelated warrant in a theft case.
http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...-black-lives-matters-activist-us-constitutionDowd, too, said that he does not view the occupation as violent and that he would like to see Black Lives Matter activists research the “grand jury” model as a way to address their grievances.
“Go to the sheriff in your county, and if he is corrupt, then you need to raise a grand jury on your own and outline the documentation of the wrongdoing,” he said. “This is what this is about – finding a better way of doing things.”
http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/feb/15/oregon-militia-standoff-felony-chargesDowd is accused of stealing a firearm worth about $600 from a 65-year-old man last May, a spokesman for the police department said.
Agree. Could you imagine what would happen if a group of armed, low income minority folks took over a federal building for a month , shot at police, stole government vehicles, then booby trapped everything with bombs before leaving? They would end up dead. Why are these cretins given a free pass?
Today marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of a massive police operation in Philadelphia that culminated in the helicopter bombing of the headquarters of a radical group known as MOVE. The fire from the attack killed six adults and five children and destroyed sixty-five homes, an entire neighborhood. Despite the two grand jury investigations and a commission finding that top officials were grossly negligent, no one from city government was criminally charged.
I don't think this got posted over the weekend, apologies if it did and I missed it.
This is The Washington Post's story on the surrender of the final four. It is the best recounting I have read and fills in with some things I was not aware of.

Getting to Hallelujah: The frantic final hours of the Oregon refuge occupation
The Washington Post
By Kevin Sullivan and Mark Berman
February 13, 2016
“Michele Fiore’s phone lit up as her flight touched down in Portland, Ore., just after 6 p.m. Wednesday. The FBI was closing in on the armed occupation of a remote federal wildlife refuge, and the last four occupiers were panicked.
On a phone call being live-streamed to tens of thousands of people on YouTube, the four were demanding to speak with Fiore, a Nevada state assemblywoman who had flown to Oregon to offer her help.
Fiore pulled a Sharpie from her purse, wrote the number on her wrist, and dialed.
“This is Assemblywoman Michele Fiore. Yes, I’m here,” she said.
It was the start of a long 18 hours for Fiore, and the beginning of the end of an angry five-week standoff by anti-government activists in the lonesome high desert of eastern Oregon.”
Much more...
The FBI had made Arnold wait just outside the refuge. As Fry’s emotional state deteriorated, he decided to call Ammon Bundy in jail.
Bundy made a personal appeal for Fry’s surrender, which Arnold recorded and texted to the FBI. Inside the refuge, an agent played the recording over the Bearcat’s loudspeaker.
“David, this is Ammon Bundy,” he said on the 96-second clip. “I want you to know that there is a future out here. You have a future. . . . Your actions here really mattered and we love you. Please come out of there.”
After several silent minutes, Fry lit a cigarette and said, “Well, alrighty then.”
Fabulous!Pointed out on twitter, Ammon Bundy holding a paper tablet. The picture is an inventory list of who has weapons & how many.
