Well it does bring to question....
Secret Service and FBI have no motive but state he acted alone.

I found it rather odd there was an arrest made the same day of a foreign actor trying to leave the country, after trying to arrange an assassination on Trump.

I also find it odd, the father has been seen twice leaving an attorney's office. Moo

I'm certainly not promoting any type of theory, but speculation will continue until full transparency. SS delaying providing information to congressional committees is leading to theories and speculations. This is needless, they need to come clean, fess up, fire those involved and move on.

All my opinion
I don't see anything odd about the father seeing an attorney. Lawsuits are definitely possible since it was his son who killed one person and wounded three others (including Trump) with a gun he got from him.

Also, I'm hoping those relieved of duty are those responsible instead of being scapegoats or whistle blowers.

And, in my opinion, questions about the three foreign encrypted accounts have not been explained to my satisfaction. I'm still not convinced TC acted alone or wasn't hired or radicalized into doing this. How do we know that TC hadn't developed an ambition to become a hired gun, etc?

IMO:
TC
- frustrated intellectual had job beneath his intellect
- show off he could outsmart all the security experts
- important VIP DJT was visiting in neighboring area
- close to home opportunistic assassin/assassination
- notoriety to leave his mark by killing/trying to kill VIP
I agree and I would add, a big middle finger to his High School Gun Club that would not accept him as a member.
Both a social rejection and a talent rejection.

Secret Service HQ told agents not to request extra security for Trump’s Butler rally: whistleblower

The whistleblower claims that officials with the Secret Service’s Office of Protective Operations – Manpower “preemptively informed the Pittsburgh field office that the Butler rally was not going to receive additional security resources because Trump is a former president and not the incumbent President or Vice President.

….

Do not believe or trust fbi or ss when under oath.

So many whistleblowers in this case. Have all of their claims so far held up to scrutiny? As far as the level of security, the agency already has protection guidelines established under the watch of Congress. This one sounds fairly typical. Not seeing any malfeasance here.

There are a lot of pieces to this puzzle and it will take time to put them all together.

It is even more troubling that the request for extra security was denied given that the SS knew at that time that there had been a specific and credible threat against President Trump from Iran at the time of the Butler rally. Given the threat assessment the Secret Service should have automatically increased their security footprint at the rally.

No wonder so many SS officials have been removed from their positions, they need to get them out of there completely.

My congratulations to his "High School Gun Club" for sticking to their standards. In an earlier post, it was stated that his marksmanship was so bad it made him dangerous. He had 4 or 5 years to learn and improve his marksmanship before he decided to shoot people. In my opinion, that he did so is 100% his fault and has nothing to do with any gun club.

A Statement from the BPSD (Updated: July 20, 2024)

Rifle Team Involvement:
It has been reported that the shooter was a member of the Bethel Park High School rifle team or tried out for it but was dismissed due to poor performance or because the coach had character concerns. The assailant was never a member of the school's rifle team and we have no record of him trying out. The coach does not recall meeting him. However, it is possible that the shooter informally attended a practice, took a shot, and never returned. We don't have any record of that happening.

Is there something special in this video? I think I've seen it before. Just the SS discussing details with local LE on the roof with the deceased sniper.

Speaking of the deceased criminal on the roof...

I still am wondering why investigators hosed down the roof so rapidly...
I would think the crime scene would have been kept intact for a longer time...
as it seems I have seen in other cases...
especially a crime scene with such major importance.

Additionally...
I am quite surprised that his cremation was ordered after such a short time...
for reasons stated above...

All JMO....

It appeared, JMO, local LE was handling the crime scene. Was it county LE? They were the ones who hosed down the roof. Perhaps they weren't familiar with how to do that type of investigation and neglected to ask someone higher up the chain of command?

Too many chefs and not enough cooks.

I do not know who hosed the roof...

I think the FBI ordered the cremation...
But am not certain....

But... your point is taken...

To be clear, many years ago he had tried to join his High School Gun Club. He failed miserably with his accuracy. I suspect he was laughed at and mocked for his efforts. That had to have been a mean and cruel blow to his self esteem.

He then spent the next few years honing this skills at his local Gun Range.

He must have successfully honed his skills as he came inches away from assassinating Trump.

Ron Johnson: Secret Service, FBI ‘basically dragging their feet’ on Trump assassination attempt investigation

BY LAUREN SFORZA - 08/25/24 3:20 PM ET

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said the Secret Service and FBI are “basically dragging their feet” on the Senate bipartisan investigation into the attempted assassination of former President Trump.

“All I can really tell you is the Secret Service, FBI are basically dragging their feet. They’re stonewalling us. And we have gotten some transcribed interviews, but the documents we request are heavily redacted,” he said on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” noting that the documents aren’t delivered until the day of the interview."

<<snip>>

"Johnson, the former chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, also joined calls for a congressional probe into security at the Trump rally last month. He criticized the agencies Sunday, saying they have not released all the necessary information.

“They hold themselves above the law. They don’t really think that they’re responsible to be coming under scrutiny by Congress or the American public. And so this is how they behave,” he said.

“They’re the only ones that are going to have access to this information until they decide what information to give us and when to give it to us. They’re in total control,” he added."

Failed Donald Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks’ high school further deepened the mystery surrounding the disturbed shooter’s teen years Saturday when officials denied allegations that he tried out for its rifle team, was bullied and threatened to shoot up the school years before carrying out his sinister plot.

I didn't know that it was the local LE who cleaned the roof ?
This begs the question : Did the FBI or the secret service, advise them to do this ?
The 'higher ups' in both organizations previously mentioned should have known how to preserve evidence.
Unless they wanted it washed away.
We will never know and most likely the public will not be told either way.
Imo.
Even if they were local or county LE... they should have known how to secure a crime scene correctly.
Omo.

The parents of Trump shooter Thomas Crooks have hired a team of powerhouse attorneys as the FBI continues to investigate just how much they knew ahead of their son's assassination attempt on the former president, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The idea that someone may have assisted Thomas Crooks was given new credence on Thursday by Florida US Rep. Mike Waltz. In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com he questioned whether the 20-year-old acted alone.

Rbm.

Maybe the dad or both parents knew more ... and maybe not ?
At any rate, it takes some of the focus (i.e., 'heat') off of the secret service and the FBI, so there's that.

Imo, the secret service in particular have not enjoyed the scrutiny on their organization.
They're the 'good guys' and we're to trust them and not question how they operate.

My .02 is that Representative Waltz isn't actually questioning the parents' possible involvement.
Imo, he may be looking elsewhere ?

Personally, I don't know who cleaned the roof, nor when it happened. In the Grassley video linked above, no one rinsed it off. They were still preserving the crime scene.

You're right. It would help to know who cleaned the crime scene, when they did it and who approved it. That information is probably out there. Reviewing that information can help people avoid jumping to conclusions. If people were concerned about anything in the shooter's blood, that would have been detected during the autopsy.

If the organizations in question do not want anyone to think there there might be something to hide, why redact most of it ?
The delivering of the interviews the day of , is just rude. There is no time to source anything or to speak to -- or email for further clarification -- the person interviewed.
How would the agencies that the information is being sought from -- like it if the situation were reversed ?
Omo.

Eta : Agreed re. this being concerning.
