If she obsesses over some kids, calling herself a mother, who knows what fantasies - not necessarily sexual ones - she had about the kids. Maybe she fantasised about being a hero, someone as important as a family member to the little girl, and made that happen?

Was DR even friends with her daughter on fb? her account is completely gone now. looking back at the sisters page and video, was she in that? i wonder if there wasnt estrangement before this.

ahh ok, i must have caught it between the unfriending and the account going because I saw the mother on the sister's page but not hers ... still isnt in the sister's video made by the mother of 2009 tho is she?? unless i didnt recognise her

I'm not sure. Maybe like she only failed a couple questions on a LDT test per his comment in the news....!!

This lawyer shouldn't be making statements right now. He seems to be throwing wet noodles onto the wall to see if they stick. smh

eta, so she's possibly mental and didn't tell the whole truth on the LDT...grrr

One summer, when my DD was about 3, I took her to the beach in Santa Monica. And I saw this adorable little boy that we knew from a Mommy and Me class. So my DD and I stop and say hello to 'D'--who was about 2 yrs old.
And this lady that I had never ever seen before says 'hi' to us, very sweetly, and hands him his sand toys---and then she said to him " Say thank you MOMMY." She was not his mom AFAIK.

I was really confused, because I had met his mom a few times at mommy and me and they looked exactly like each other. This 'mommy' looked nothing like him, but was really odd and weirdly fixated on him. She was hovering over him and being really strange. She kept touching him and stroking him. So I asked her flat out--is this your little boy?

Yessss...she said. His name is Sky. Isn't he beautiful? :what:

So I thought maybe she was his stepmom or something, but I had met his mom and she was pregnant, and still married to D's father...so that made no sense.

I stayed until she left with D, but couldnt follow because we had walked there. I called the Mommy and Me teacher and told her what I had seen. She called me back later, and asked me to call D's parents and tell them. Apparently this woman was his BABYSITTER. She had only been watching him part time for a couple of weeks, but his mom had recently wondered about how overly attached the babysitter seemed to be.

Anyhow, I am not sure how this connects, but that story triggered this freaky memory.

This was discussed a bit earlier and there is no common consensus because of the ambiguity of the writing. Some think it says Ms. Chris, some think Ms. China, and a lot just aren't sure! I personally am leaning towards Ms. China but I also think I WANT it to say that, KWIM?

It is hard to say, but I notice CR herself spells her name with no "h" on her FB profile. "Cristina". Would a "Cristina" become a "Chris" when shortening her name? The only Cristina I know is "Cris" when she shortens it. That is evidence in favor of "China", IMO.

A telephone listing for Regusters could not be located. An attorney who was representing her could not immediately be reached by The Associated Press because a telephone listing for him was temporarily disconnected. But the attorney, W. Fred Harrison Jr., told WCAU-TV that Regusters had "no involvement" in the crime.

google searches bring up very little about this attorney aside from yellow page links. That coupled with the lack of working phone number leads to me to believe this lawyer is out of his depth with a case of this nature. IMO a Public Defender would be preferable.

She was taken back into custody Thursday after her DNA was found in a mixture of DNA on the shirt the little girl was wearing when she was recovered, police sources said. That and the fact that she worked at an after-school program where the child was enrolled led to her arrest.

Agreed he must mostly practice wills and deeds. He looks to be retired IMO,
He knows something about criminal law,cause he got LE to release the others..Wonder how he can sleep at night ...

Kline said the girl attended Bryant, at 6001 Cedar Ave., but was enrolled in an after-school program operated by the Heaven's Little Angels day-care center a block away on South 60th Street.

Typically, Kline said, the girl would be picked up at Bryant by day-care workers and taken to the center. There she would later be picked up by her mother.

Darby has said that there had been prior contact between Regusters and the young victim at the day-care program.

Kline, however, said that neither the girl nor her mother recognized Regusters from the day-care program.

Late Friday afternoon, guardians picking up children at Heaven's Little Angels were mum when asked about the center and Regusters.

The center's front door was locked, and workers let in only parents or guardians. A woman at the door did not acknowledge an Inquirer reporter seeking comment.

At the Walton Avenue house, no one answered the door, and neighbors either declined to comment or said they did not know the Regusterses.

If she came to live here with family members on Walton approx a year ago as I have seen on this thread and she has only been employed at the daycare a few months per the article above I have to ask:

Where did she work, if she worked, before the daycare?

Was the daycare where she was employed at the time she made the post on her FB page in October 2012 about boss, crying, called boss a B and claimed to have browbeaten respect and a raise out of boss? Or was that some other boss at some other job?

Things that are making me go hmmm today.

the reason CR's FB comments re boss puzzle me is because if she has only worked there a few months that would imply starting there in the fall of 2012. That would in turn suggest, if those comments were about boss at the daycare, that she was having problems in that job almost immediately after beginning to work there.

I find it unusual that she was demanding respect and raises at a job she had only just started.

Anyone finding any previous work history in philly?

Harrison said Regusters has been in Philadelphia for only about a year and was living with her aunt, Valerie Regusters, and cousins in the Walton Avenue house.

Harrison said Regusters had worked for several months at the day-care center near the Bryant school - where the abducted girl was in an after-school program - but he did not know anything more about Regusters' prior employment or background.
