Paul was last seen at Stage AE, correct?

If so, Dakota went missing straight across the river and a few blocks up if he is on camera at the T station.

Sorry to quote my own post but I just realized that I was thinking of a different Pittsburgh man who went missing (James Slack)

In Paul's case, he was last seen on the South Side, which is farther away.

If the last place that Dakota was seen was in front of the Wood Street station, and he was standing there (rather than walking in the line of sight), I would guess that he was waiting for a bus. That spot (Liberty at Wood Street) is a pickup for many bus routes. Have they checked if he had used his ConnectCard that night? I know that some universities in town offer free bus passes - did Dakota have one of these? They could check the video footage from any North Shore-bound buses that picked up at that stop after 11:49 PM.

It ticks me off when I see these stories about bar owners or staff throwing patrons out after they become drunk in their club. I owned a club in KC for years, and they should leave with someone else or in a cab. If they are too drunk to be in the club, they are too drunk to drive or just put out in the elements. Obviously they are OVERSERVING and should take responsibility for that.

Has anyone heard anything from his coworker - the one who got into the Uber? Did she say if he had planned to take public transit or walk, or what kind of mood he was in, or what direction he was going when she left?

Additionally, I hope they have checked the surveillance cameras from the 7-11 across the street from the Wood Street T Station - it is one of the very few places downtown that is open that late, and Dakota may have made a stop for snacks / a drink / cigarettes / to warm up.

No, and it is pretty weird for her to have not given a statement to the media by now, so my guess is someone is advising her not to talk to the media.

James was last seen at approximately 11:39 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 in Downtown near the intersection of Liberty Avenue and 6th Street.

Originally reported as 11:49 PM, in other articles as 11:59 PM, now 11:39 PM. The variance is significant in that the times are close to the T's M-F evening schedule... twenty minute variance means either DJ could have made the T or he couldn't.

The timeline is very significant in this case. If it is Dakota on the camera at the Wood Street T it should be time stamped. Then, his next possible moves could be estimated and/or determined. I read that the Port Authority finally turned over all video surveillance today to LE. My gut instinct is telling me that he missed the last train and decided to walk. I am extremely curious as to what the coworker told police and if they were able to corroborate it. It seems only natural to ask, "How are you getting home?" if he declined to take Uber. I would also like to know this person's opinion of his intoxicated state.

Since the line seems to be "crossing the street" at one point I would think they know he walked this distance, they seen him on video.

I hope they get more footage from other streets.

Based on recently released info we may assume DJ never made it to any of the sister bridges on foot, assuming all bridge-area cameras are functional, recordings intact and show no signs of DJ.

I wonder if DJ felt comfortable enough in downtown to hitch a ride?
