Am I reading correctly that said homeless man has Facebook pages?

confirmed, deceased:

Troopers on Monday confirmed the remains found Sept. 29 by hunters are those of 19-year-old Michael Staniszewski, of Duncansville, and 32-year-old James Edward Smith. Both were last seen March 26 at Smith's home in Portage, Cambria County.

The state police are investigating because Duncansville is in Somerset County, as is the spot where the men's skulls were found miles away from Staniszewski's vehicle. It was found along Route 985 in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County two days after the men were last seen.

Another man has been charged with not telling police everything he knows about the men's whereabouts, but isn't cooperating and hasn't been charged in their deaths.

Documents: Man killed missing Cambria County men over drug house burglary

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- More information has been released after the arrest of an Ohio woman in the homicide investigation in Cambria County, Pennsylvania that ties her boyfriend to the killings.

Jasmine Browning, 24, was arrested Monday in Columbus, Ohio, as a fugitive from justice in the state of Pennsylvania.

According to a Columbus Police Department spokeswoman, Browning was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police troopers Monday after troopers learned Browning was in Ohio to take care of a traffic citation.

Pennsylvania State Police confirmed the arrest is related to the investigation into the deaths of Damian Staniszewski and James Smith.

Browning is facing charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit kidnapping to inflict injury or terror.

According to documents obtained by 6 News, Smith and Staniszewski were reported missing March 28, 2017, and were last seen in Cambria County a day or two before with a large amount of narcotics.

According to court documents, police conducted interviews and said Smith and Staniszewski burglarized a residence on Boyd Street know as a "stash house" that belonged to Browning and her boyfriend.

Police said that the duo stole a large quantity of narcotics, a handgun and roughly $17,000 in cash.

According to the documents, Browning's boyfriend learned that Staniszewski and Smith were responsible for the burglary and had Browning set up a drug deal with the two.

Police said during that drug deal, the duo were taken at gunpoint inside the Boyd Street and were brutally beaten.

Police said the two were continually beaten over the next three to four days by Browning's boyfriend.

According to court documents, Staniszewski and Smith were then taken to a wooded area along Ligonier Pike in Somerset County after Browning's boyfriend became frustrated with them not admitting to the burglary.

Police said at that point Smith tried to run and was shot by Browning's boyfriend, who then shot Stanizewski twice point blank in the face.

Police said the murder weapon was then dumped in a nearby body of water.

Two men have been ordered to stand trial in the slayings of two western Pennsylvania men reported missing almost two years ago.

One of five wants her own trial for double murder

In a hearing last week, Jasmine Hinton, 27, of Johnstown, requested to be severed from her codefendants in the case where they are accused of contributing to the torture in Johnstown and the shooting death in Conemaugh Township of two male friends in March 2017.

She would be ready for trial "well before the August, 2022 date," Beyer wrote.

The trial had been docketed to run on two prior dates: Sept. 13 to Sept. 21, 2021 and Jan. 18 to 26. Those trials were continued.

DeAndre Callender was acquitted of charges of kidnapping and criminal conspiracy while Marekus Benson and Samson Washington were convicted on charges of 1st degree homicide, criminal conspiracy and aggravated assault in the deaths of Damian Staniszewski and James Smith, whose bodies were found dumped along Ligonier Pike.

Washington was also found guilty on charges of unlawful restraint but was acquitted on the charge of criminal conspiracy via communication.
A fourth man involved in the case, Devon Wyrick, will be tried separately.

Both Benson and Washington are scheduled to be sentenced in early January.

On Jan. 11, both 32-year-old Marekus Benson and 30-year-old Samson Washington received life sentences after being convicted of 1st-degree homicide, criminal conspiracy and aggravated assault, according to Acting Somerset County District Attorney Molly Metzgar. Devon Wyrick, 28, was sentenced to 21 to 80 years after being convicted of 3rd-degree murder.
