So hearing it was a LE confirmed sighting on Creek Rd (Route 100) between Meetinghouse Rd and Street Rd (926) For those of you semi local, that is the area of the Brandywine that always floods up in East Marlborough. Sighting was around 7:30 PM tonight.

It’s really hot out today. I would just swim right down the Brandywine.

So, the prison he was in is a local county prison with lower security. He was kept there after his arrest and until his trial, which is standard. He had been convicted the week prior, and was due to be shipped off to a maximum security state prison, but this was being delayed having to do with an appeal he may have been filing. We do need to fix this issue!
Thanks, @elmomom !
I do wonder if anyone wasn't doing their job properly ?
Js.
It does seem that this prisoner should have warranted the most secure lockup situation available.
Hoping he is apprehended soon !
Omo.

but they will shoot to kill if he so much as blinks at them
they have no obligation to try to take him alive (heard from reporter)
Slightly hyperbolic there but we're aware that LE has killed surrendering/no threat(this guy is a threat) people before. They have been directed to use deadly force against him unless he clearly surrenders. As it is now proven that they can't keep track of him in their custody, once found, him not surrendering is the better option imo. I'd have no faith they'd be able to contain him.

The search area in dotted circle, the last verified sighting in red circle, (though I think there were others lower on the River) This is where they were concentrating last night, significantly east of the area they had him confined to previously, and seems like he may be traveling south now along the Brandywine.

This is the approximate route he seemed to be taking. On the left, the bridge on 52 in Longwood Gardens (sighted on a trail cam here Monday night) and on the right just past the edge of map is the Brandywine Creek (river) where he was sighted last night on the east bank. The blue line is roughly following a major creek that runs along that, and most people following are now convinced he must be using the waterways to travel. This would explain the difficulty in using the tracking dogs as well.

And this approximately the same, the path in yellow to illustrate the density of the terrain. It is hilly and forested, plus this time of year in the area the undergrowth is thick, thorny and full of vines. Not easy to travel, but even harder to travel if you are dressed in camo outfitted with tactical gear and weapons. He clearly has the advantage traveling this terrain at night.
