Here's the script ring flipped right side up. I think the stone might be greenish.

I have never followed a missing unidentifiable person case. Does the ME release a probable COD? I just wondered if this could have been a single female that was jogging or walking and suffered a cerebral aneurysm or something. But wouldn't she have been missed by someone? This is heartbreaking to think about.

So maybe we can work on leads of girls/young women who have a C in their initials and a birthdate of May, see if that leads us anywhere? 2 greenish-looking stones on 2 different rings might be a birthstone.

Seems impossible. Her arms would have been apelike. The human foot will fit perfectly from the fold of the indivduals elbow to the fold of the wrist.

There are people who commented in this thread that they are 5'3" or shorter with a size 9 shoe. So it's not impossible. Also, I just tried your trick and my foot is not a perfect fit. No two people are the same.

NAMUS said that she was wearing a size 9 BOOT, not shoe. She may have upped the size a bit to provide for socks.

I said, "it seems impossible". I am going by the standards taught in Osteoarchaeology Studies and Art Class. You are right, no two people are the same.

I'll continue later. The internet here is being spotty.

I soooo wish that they would post a clear shot of the hallmarks on the rings! Always wish this when there's jewelry involved.

This is a C ... no if's an's or buts, trust me, I know as it is my first inital. I recall it being popular in the 70s. Here is another similar version:

I can certainly see the letter C. However, I can also see the letter F, depending on which way the ring would be worn. Based on the location of the stone, I'm leaning towards F. Considering aesthetics, it seems to me that the stone would be on the proximal (towards the body) side of the finger. Did anyone else have a strong feeling about the location of the stone while the ring is on a finger?

I wear 6-7 rings and will sometimes take them off if I'm doing something messy with my hands, or if I wear gloves because they get snagged.
