Police: Missing woman has contacted relatives

Authorities were set to search a wooded area off routes 6 and 19 in West Mead Township Sunday morning for signs of Emily Stalter, 32, of Castle Shannon.

However, after Stalter made contact with relatives Saturday morning, those relatives, in turn, contacted Stalter’s father. Stalter’s father then was in contact with West Mead Township Police, Wise said.

“We don’t believe she’s in the area,” Wise told the Tribune. “We’ve called off Sunday’s search.”

This is a tough one. Seems that Emily is an adult, voluntarily missing person, with possible health issues.

Car found in West Mead, but now they don’t believe she’s in the area - why? Did she tell her relatives she was heading elsewhere? Someone must have picked her up where her car was left.

I was intrigued and trying to decipher her license plate ‘LZS’. Then I read she has Led Zep tattoos (one of my own fav old bands), so it could be a nod to the band.

Emily, where are you? Your family is worried. People that don’t even know you are caring and praying for you. Whatever is going on, please, first and foremost - take care of YOU and your health and safety first.

“And if you feel that you can't go on. And your will's sinkin' low, Just believe and you can't go wrong. In the light you will find the road.”
- Led Zep’s "In The Light"

Upper St. Clair is arguably the toniest part of Allegheny County. It is comparable to Gladwyne outside Philadelphia, or Lake Mahopac, NY or Greenwich, CT outside NYC. Trader Joe's anywhere is generally highly regarded as a workplace as well as for grocery shopping.
LZS could more narrowly refer to Jimmy Page's magickal symbol "Zoso" which appears on Led Zeppelin IV (it's not actually a word, and is now generally believed to refer to Saturn in relation to Jimmy's sign Capricorn).

Well, Northside was not a good place to be last weekend.

Search for gunman continues after three people are shot dead on Pittsburgh's North Side

It’s also been taken over by homeless camps. I work on north side and pass 20+ tents daily. I’m going to pay attention while driving by tomorrow to see if I happen to see anyone matching her description.

RIP Emily
Thinking of her friends and family ♥

no autopsy planned? I thought an unattended death basically required an autopsy.
Is that only in certain areas?
