It says right in the article "Investigators later determined that Kratz had sold the pieces for $345 at a resale shop on Cottman Avenue."
He's locked up now and will be for the rest of his life. They probably considered him a flight risk because of all the money in the family and he also made comments in the past about wanting to go travel Europe.

I was thinking the same thing.
In many states weed is legal and you can buy it at a store. Even highly successful professionals take part in it just like having a glass of wine after work. I feel like you are lumping it in with hardcore drugs like meth and heroin and that isn't fair to paint these boys in that light because they smoked some weed.

i believe the DA is a very smart man and accepted CD's version of events to get the confession but, most importantly, to recover Jimi's body and get him back to his loved ones. I also believe he was smart enough to build something into the deal to take the death penalty off the table for a TRUE confession and detailing of events. I hope with everything in me that the LE team finds more information that shows CD is lying about some important details and that will be enough to void the deal he was given. Being a PA resident, I know there is a moratorium on the death penalty right now - but voters and changes in government can take care of that. If ever the death penalty was needed, this is the case. Getting off my pedestal now. Rant over.

and casino security is pretty strict. He was only 20, it wouldn't be worth anything to him if he won because he's underage.

These are 2 different things.
There was a recent parking lot encounter where CD was repeatedly pressuring someone to get in his truck and talk business/buy drugs from him and the person ended up declining.
Then there was the car selling attempt which I don't know much about.

PARX racetrack and casino in Bensalem or possibly Sugar House down in Philly.
It sounds like Pennsylvania is a lot like Ohio. No real casinos like in Las Vegas, but what we like to call "racinos". There is a horse track and about 3,000 too many loud slot machines...maybe a few tables but none that are fun like poker, blackjack etc

Not sure if he was into gambling, but I don't live very far from his parents home in Bensalem and there is Parx Casino on Street Road in Bensalem. There are several in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas and then of course the casinos in Atlantic City, which is about 1 1/2-2 hours away.
Not sure if he ever traveled out of state, but New Jersey is very close. Why?

Really? Casinos right there? I was asking as a shot in the dark, just an odd thought that hit me...it wouldn't surprise me one bit if CD was a gambler or had a gambling addiction...maybe he had gambling debts...just a thought...
Right, I thought the initial post was about the attempt to sell the car. I'm pretty sure it was just CD calling somebody. No Craigslist ads, no meetup.
This is not true. There's parx casino in Bensalem. Literally 10 mins where he is from.

Not likely with all the helicopters that have been hovering there all week. Someone would have noticed that. It's possible to grow inside, but takes a lot of grow lights etc.

OT.....I'm with you ylime...I am in Ohio and to have any fun tables you do have to go to Indiana!! But AC has it all! But it is off topic cuz he wasn't 21. I went there on my "romantic" honeymoon when the age was lower (I was 20) many moons ago.
