They are scheduled to have "miscellaneous criminal hearings" 1/14/2019 to 1/16/2019. On 11/08/2018, they were told that all pre-trial motions had to be filed by 12/31/2018. There are at least four motions listed in the docket, but there are also a few entries that are sealed.

The trial itself is scheduled for 4/15/2019.

Monday, January 14th:
*Miscellaneous Criminal Hearing (Day 1) (@ ET) - PA - Jimi Taro Patrick (19), Mark R. Sturgis (22), Thomas C. Meto (21) & Dean R. Finocchiaro (18) murdered (July 5-9, 2017, Bucks County) – *Sean Kratz (20) (CN’s cousin) indicted (7/14/17) on 3 counts of 1st degree murder, abuse of corpse, robbery, illegal poss. of weapon & conspiracy; plead not guilty. No bail. DA will seek DP.
5/16/18: Sean Kratz rejected a deal that would have had him serve 59-118 years in jail for the deaths of three of the four victims, who ranged in age from 19 to 22. Prosecutors say they will now seek the death penalty against Kratz.
5/23 hearing: Def. attys released confession tapes after Judge sealed them. 5/30/18: Judge appoints attorney for Kratz and imposes a gag order on the case. 7/16/18: Trial to begin next year – no dates.
10/29/18 Update: Hearing – Kratz changed attorneys. The pretrial hearings will be continued on a later date to allow for Peruto to get up to speed on the case & ensure he has necessary certification to represent a client in a capital case.
1/13/19 Update: Misc. Criminal hearings on 1/14 to 1/16/19. Trial has been set for April 15, 2019.
*Cosmo DiNardo (20) (confessed in exchange for DP off table) indicted (7/14/17) on 4 counts of 1st degree murder, abuse of corpse, robbery, illegal poss. of weapon & conspiracy; plead not guilty.
5/16/18: DiNardo pleaded guilty Wednesday to four counts of first-degree murder, among other charges, in the July slayings. DiNardo was sentenced to 4 consecutive life sentences in prison, which upholds a previous deal in which the district attorney agreed not to seek the death penalty in exchange for information from DiNardo.
11/8/18: DiNardo pleaded guilty Thursday to a felony gun charge stemming from an offense committed about five months prior to murdering four men on his parents’ rural property in Solebury in 2017. The offense could have carried with it a 10-year prison sentence, but in exchange for a guilty plea, prosecutors agreed to recommend probation concurrent to the four life sentences DiNardo is serving for killing the 4 young men.

The hearings are over already.

Cosmo DiNardo’s cousin Sean Kratz asks confession tapes be suppressed and death penalty barred

"Kratz’s attorney argued that his April 2018 statement to authorities should not be presented at trial, and that prosecutors should be barred from seeking the death penalty. Prosecutors pushed back.

Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey L. Finley adjourned the proceedings, which had been expected to last three days, saying he would later issue written rulings."

They also want an out of town jury.

Thank you for the update lsv7!

So - no "new" court dates?

TIA! :)

I can't access this article & was wondering if this was about Kratz' last hearing & might have the next court date in it.

If someone could give a 10% synopsis - it would be very much appreciated! :)
Defendant in Pa. multiple-killing case seeks to bar confession recordings

“Cosmo DiNardo's cousin and alleged co-conspirator Sean Kratz returned to a Bucks County courtroom Monday for a pretrial hearing that at times included tense back-and-forth between prosecutors and Kratz's new attorney, A. Charles Peruto Jr.”

“Kratz, in court Monday, sat in front of more than a dozen relatives of the victims, who filled half of a small Doylestown courtroom. This time, they heard arguments and evidence on several motions filed by the prosecution and the defense in advance of Kratz's trial, scheduled for April.”

Gianficaro: Lawyers for Sean Kratz look to have confession statement thrown out before trial

That which may send alleged murderer Sean Kratz to death row will not be pretrial publicity, but his own words.

A killer’s confession matters. Words matter. Truth matters. Except, that is, to lawyers working to keep a killer off death row.

Sean Kratz is an admitted murderer. He shot 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro, of Langhorne, in the head from behind in a drug deal gone bad on July 7, 2017, on his cousin Cosmo DiNardo’s sprawling family farm in Solebury. DiNardo killed three others in drug deals — Jimi Taro Patrick, 19, of Newtown Township, on July 5, and Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, and Thomas Meo, 21, of Plumstead Township, on July 7 after Kratz shot Finocchiaro — capping the duo’s murder spree that grabbed nationwide headlines and shocked residents of Bucks County.

DiNardo admitted to the murders, took a plea to spare himself the death penalty, and is in prison serving four consecutive life sentences without chance of parole.

I like the way this reporter writes! :)

The trial is scheduled for 4/15.

On 1/22, the defense was still submitting stuff trying to get a jury from a different county.

Sean Kratz, accused in Bucks murders, scheduled for court hearing

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - The second suspect in the murders of four young men in Bucks County is scheduled to be in court Monday.

The trial for Sean Kratz was set to begin Monday but court records show that has been canceled and a miscellaneous criminal hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. instead. It's not clear what the hearing is about.

Cosmo DiNardo’s cousin wants his confession suppressed in triple-murder trial

Will a jury be able to hear Cosmo DiNardo’s alleged co-conspirator, Sean Kratz, describe how the pair killed three young men?

That question was at the center of pretrial hearings on Monday and Tuesday, proceedings that are expected to be the last before Kratz’s trial. Bucks County Court Judge Jeffrey L. Finley will decide whether to allow the statement in the coming weeks.
[.....]
Kratz’s attorney, A. Charles Peruto Jr., who was retained this fall, said his client didn’t fully understand the conditions of the deal — which came with a 59- to 118-year prison sentence for third-degree murder and other charges, and required him to tell authorities what happened.
[.....]
Kratz’s confession tapes have been the source of much drama over the past year. After Kratz turned down the plea deal in May, former attorney Penglase admitted to leaking the recordings of DiNardo and Kratz, and parts of them were aired on NBC10 and later Fox29.

and of course - no mention of the next court date....
