JB was 120 pounds, and 60 inches.

There are some that are waterproof, opaque, and the right size.

As was previously noted, it would be a "forced-fit."

He could have bought one in the morning, had one available, or picked one up at his parents house, transferring the body there.

The question, for me at least, is how did JH get the body out of the house and to Jenkinstown? Whether or not in a bin, he certainly didn't take it by mass transit.

He probably had a bit over 24 hours to get the remains to Wayne County.

Police Want to Talk to Roommate of Man Accused of Killing Temple Student Jenna Burleigh
"We have the one suspect in custody we are looking to see if anyone else is involved," Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross said Tuesday morning.

Ross said its not clear whether the roommate, who has not been identified, played a role in the homicide, but that detectives can't rule out anything until they speak with him.

1) The grandfather found the bin with the body in a shed and then alerted authorities.
2) Jenna sent two texts asking for help. One of them went to a person who was at the bar with her before things went bad.

Friends don't leave friends alone in a bar in criminal infested Philadelphia. So tragic.

OMG the poor grandfather :(

"Jenna Burleigh reached out to two friends asking for help before leaving a North Philadelphia bar with Josh Hupperterz"

She asked for help before going home with him? That's odd. Maybe she asked them for a lift home?

Maybe they mean that JB texted the person who was with her at the bar, and after she left.

Edited: I'll take that back. She was texting them from the bar; the friends had already left. Wow!

From the article:
The friend had been at the bar with his roommate and Burleigh. But he and his roommate left to get food shortly after arriving.

Neither friend saw the messages until the next morning. They're said to be very upset about missing her attempts to reach them.

Talk about a lifetime of regret on that one. OUCH.

Regarding leaving friends alone in a bar in criminal infested Philadelphia. That's real easy to say from an outsiders perspective. I'm sure her friends feel terrible right now. But FWIW the article never said they WENT to the bar with Jenna. It seemed to me more like they stopped by the bar to meet Jenna for a drink and then left.

I can remember being in my early 20s, drunk at the bar and wanting to go home, but my best friend not wanting to leave (especially if she was talking to a guy) and vice versa. You do the "are you sure you're ok if I leave" exchange for a bit and then part ways. Now that we are in our early 30s, married and living in the suburbs, we often times look back and thank God nothing bad ever happened to us. It could happen to anyone.

I can't imagine how scared poor Jenna must have been. RIP Jenna.

In fairness, the neighborhood is not "criminal infested." Two separate police forces patrol the area. At least three cameras, one in the pub, two on the corner, covered about 320 feet route to the house. The area is well lit and there was an emergency phone at the end of the block.

There is little be afraid of on the street.

It's weird to me if she called for help and then still agreed to go with him elsewhere. I'm missing something

I think she might have wanted help with something else? And if one of the friends had answered she might have met them or they'd come and picked her up.

Maybe she got nervous at the end of the night about being alone so tried calling her friends to meet up with her to walk/take her home and when she couldn't get in touch with them, he offered for her to come to his apartment to wait until they answered or until she could get a ride. IMO it's one thing to be at a bar having a good time without your friends, but then it's last call and reality sets in ... "oh crap how am I getting home"

And I am missing the same thing. JB texted before she left the pub, a half hour before it closed.

Obviously, I don't know what exactly the texts said, but it seems like she was trying to get a ride home (to Montco), and possibly JH offered her either a ride or a place to stay when she couldn't contact any of her friends to get her. That seems most plausible to me, but who knows?
