Thanks for posting all the trial updates. I didn’t see any info on this case before the trial so I completely forgot about it. I had wanted to go into Philly one day and attend.
I’m just glad there was justice for Jenna.

I bet he's wishing he had taken the plea deal for 30-60 yrs. I can't even believe he thought he'd fare better in a trial. There was so much evidence.

There was apparently zero evidence that roommate ever touched the body, or helped move it.

After deliberating less than 90 minutes Thursday, the jury convicted 30-year-old Hupperterz on all counts. The judge called the crime outrageous and depraved, the worst he has seen in a long time.

He then sentenced Hupperterz to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Hupperterz was also found guilty of three lesser charges including abuse of a corpse.

His attorney said given the life sentence they will be looking at options for to appeal for a lighter sentence or even a new trial.

The plea deal now looks good to him, but too late.
