I pop back in periodically to see if there has been any movement on this case. I live in South Jersey and have been to South Street and the bar they went to that night - it is no longer there I forget what it is now. But this is such a haunting case, and I hope for both families sakes they find out what happened to Danielle and Richard someday.

Could their case be related 2 the Christina Crespo case ? They are closer together & there’s a few cases in years later but could it be a crooked cop who has the upper hand & can hide stuff easier especially by the rivers & brush..

Why do you think the cases could be related?

If you're familiar with the area and the roads, there are NOT many ways a vehicle could have entered the water. And, the places where a vehicle could have feasibly gone into the water were searched and dredged, but of course the possibility remains.

Plus, the FBI believes this was a murder for hire and have stated this publicly.

Hoping for some movement in this case!!!

IIRC The FBI indicated SHE was the target. And ex hubby is the most likely suspect.

From February 2015 at the 10 year anniversary:

"Given the logical route they would have taken from South Phily to Mount Laurel," Zajac said, "It is very unlikely that this would be some sort of accident."

Investigators found nothing to indicate the pair would have been specifically targeted or that they would have disappeared on their own. Danielle’s estranged husband, Joseph Imbo, has been questioned many times. He was never named a person of interest, although authorities say no one has been ruled out as a suspect.

my point in posting that other case is that we should always keep an open mind. that kid's father thought he just walked away. he died not knowing that his son crashed and was sitting in a creek for 45+ years. the police even suspected murder and arrested someone who confessed to being involved -

It appeared Kyle was not college material. The elder Clinkscales believed their son had again become discouraged at not making the grade and had gone into seclusion to reflect on his life. When Kyle came out of his shell, whenever that was, John and Louise would be there to support their only child in whatever he chose to do. That day, however, never came.

Through information provided by the tipster, investigators learned Ray Hyde was a member of the Moose Club, where Kyle worked. They believe Kyle was murdered because of his knowledge of Hyde’s criminal activities, which involved car theft and drug dealing. Hyde died in 2001.

Information provided by the caller also led to the arrest of Jimmy Jones and Jeanne Johnson. Jones was charged with concealing a death, hindering a criminal’s arrest, and two counts of making false statements. Johnson was charged with concealing a death, making false statements, and obstructing justice.

Jones ultimately admitted to helping dispose of Kyle’s body, but he denied taking part in his murder. He told police he found Kyle shot to death upon arriving at Hyde’s home in the early hours of January 28, 1976. Jones admitted helping Hyde drag Kyle’s body into his shop but says Hyde later told him he moved the remains into the nearby pond and then to another location, which he refused to reveal, saying it would never be found. Hyde’s prophecy has proven true as drainage of the pond turned up no sign of the barrel or any remains. Investigators also dug up Hyde’s property, but that too produced no evidence. Kyle’s car, a white 1974 Ford Pinto, has also never been found.

Because they’re 2 months apart & only a few miles… there’s more disappearances in relatively the same area not 2 far apart either… they could’ve all be stopped by a ruse of someone pretending 2 be a cop (or a crooked cop ) who could easily separate & detain them …. There’s a ridiculous amount of junkyard type areas they could hide or dispose of anything along the river that could also be used 2 hide stuff.. on google earth it looks like there could be stuff in the river … it might be nothing but I hope stuff like that really gets looked into by multiple agencies in case it is something happening in a cover up.

Brainstorming here. If we were to assume that the truck did not plunge into the water, and that this was a robbery or car jacking, why would someone go to great lengths to hide the bodies...not one, but two?
