The theories on this case are wide ranging having spoken to people involved in it, from investigators to investigative reporters.

LE's perspective depending on who you ask (2 agencies involved) go 2 different ways, one theory is the most prevalent... that they were abducted, possibly murdered, another is that they may have wound up in a body of water as we are finding more and more of as technology improves.

Now IF that's the case, whether or not it was accidental or intentional remains unknown.

Theories: There is the hit theory, which itself had several different possible motives , from jealousy to silencing Imbo over a suspected prescription drug ring, in which the prime suspect wound up hanging himself in county.

Then there was the accidental drowning or "wrong turn" theory , which is possible as we are seeing more and more vehicles recovered from bodies of water with the decedents still inside. I know LE is interested anytime a car is pulled from a lake or river in the area.

At one point along those same lines there were rumblings of a possible murder suicide theory, and then there was a lesser known theory that they intentionally ran off are still alive and are still in contact with certain family members ...

To my knowledge none of those theories have any foundation

I wonder if they just took off together and was like f it let live life somewhere else just saying because nobody really knows what happened and I don’t think anyone has said this but just maybe they took off together

‘Silencing Imbo over suspected prescription drug ring’ —- finally, a motive. What would Danielle have known or seen about this drug ring?

There were unfounded rumors that her ex husband was possibly involved in a prescription drug ring that plagued Philly for over a decade, without going into specifics, and that she possibly either knew too much or threatened to go to police. Hence why she disappeared, again NONE of this has any foundation.

The suspected "hitman" later hanged himself while in Bucks county prison .
