Thank you! Worked great. :-) I didn't see anything in it though about Tim always announcing first when they find a body. I appreciate the link though! :-)

It doesn't say THAT...on page 5 of the document it says that they announce it AFTER LE had informed the media and the public, and it also states that they will often continue searching in another area to allow LE to do their work without the media buzzing in-I have paraphrased...Look on page 5...:)

Cops turn to Facebook, MySpace profiles to solve crimes
http://news.bn.gs/article.php?story=20071104122053837

snip Instead he's trying to reach everyone else in law enforcement: beat cops, homicide detectives and other investigators who might otherwise think monitoring the Internet is not their responsibility.

More and more, such boundaries don't make sense. Whether it's on MySpace, Facebook, "Second Life" or other Web flavors of the moment, criminals and victims — especially young ones — are leaving clues in plain sight online, even for offline crimes. Things people once wrote in private diaries now cascade through Web sites that stimulate free expression — and are open to anyone who comes looking.

In one recent example, a detective in Newark, N.J., tracked the alleged killers of three college students by mining MySpace pages maintained by the suspects and their friends. In another, pictures and prose posted online by the killer of Taylor Behl, a 17-year-old Virginia college freshman, connected him to the victim and ended up revealing where her body was stashed.
snip

Leaving no stone unturned, this can be the positive result. Just saying, can be.

Okay thank you, I did see that. :-)

Please stop.

I'm trying to watch football :)

if you listen to the entire 'interview' - krause mentions that tes will be making an annoucement on monday. It could be evidence, remains, who know what. But does anyone know anything about this? And should there be a new thread for this new news?

Newbie here so not sure how it goes.

just got off the phone w/ tim miller. These are his words:

"there will be no announcements by tes in regards to this case tomorrow. If you don't hear it from me (tim miller), it's not coming from texas equusearch officially."

just wanted to clear that question up.

tes update above!

I have been trying for over an hour to access the link, but to no avail. Is anyone else having the same problem, or is just me?

TIA,
JJ

Try going to the home page of the site

then clicck on the article and (not being a smartty here-) make sure you hit play. I had to hit play cause mine does not automatically start playing.

It won't play for me in Firefox, but will in IE. Just a thought, in case those of you who can't view it are using FF.

Wow, where do all these rumors get started???? I thought some TES woman stated a 'big announcement' 'surpising announcement' was coming from TES tomorrow. Now Tim say nothing coming. I would love to know why people start this stuff.

I "think" what may have happened is that someone w/TES said that "big surprises" would be coming out about this case, and it turned into the rumor that TES would be making an announcement. I don't know that for sure, and it is NOT what Tim told me. Just researching statements made over the last several days, things that have shown up on blogs, etc., it appears this may be what is going on. Anyway, straight from Tim's mouth - as of right now, "no announcement coming from TES tomorrow on this case".

Hope this helps to clear things up. Tim is busy w/Ike clean up, their office is again without power and phones and communication is spotty for him. Power is up/down, and they are struggling still, dealing with the aftermaths of the hurricane. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Its been a long time (at least 2 weeks) since TES was in FL searching. I believe if they had found something no one could keep it quiet. I don't know what 'surprises' this person from TES thought would come out but I don't believe there can be any surprises for long on this case. I hope Tim comes back some day but at this time I don't believe they found anything. Like I said before, the only thing I would find surprising is that Caylee is alive somewhere and I just do not believe that to be true with all the evidence to the contrary that has been leaked.

My favorite part of this whole interview: see the comment below??? LOL....LP knows where the good info is regardless of what 'Bently said.

Great interview.
Leonard, I think you need to quit reading Websleuths’ theories and start basing your opinions on facts.

LOL! Very true.

if you do some myspace sleuthing on LR I think it is obvious she is NOT Casey and she is NOT a fake person. I think you can get she has nothing to do with this case. I think she is just one of those people who wants/thinks they are friends with everyone. Like the type of person, you meet once. Then maybe weeks later you are out with a friend, the friend says "I didnt know you and (?) were such good friends.", you say "what?", and the friend says "yeah I ran into (?) at the store, and (?) said she loves you, and your her favorite person to go to parties with."
in reality you met her at so an so party, talked maybe 5 min. Its someone that you others know who they are, but wouldnt associate yourself with, you think they are annoying

Some of you might understand the type of person I am talking about.

Just following up with this. I DID send Krause an email. Here is his response to the email I sent him:

Teri,
We have a lot of TES volunteers and those who work I imagine in conjunction with Tim Miller. What is to be told, that's not for me to say, I'm just covering the story, like everyone else, and feel that it's not my job to make an announcement. When TES, whether it's later, tomorrow, or next week, makes their announcement, it will be devastating for all. I'm not into media attention, as it takes away from the true story, and I'm not big on an e-celeb status, so I leave it for TES to respond.

:( Whatever it is, I hope it will be the beginning of the end of all this.
