DANA POINT – As cars whizzed by, drivers honking, more than 40 friends and family members carried signs and walked along Pacific Coast Highway over the weekend, trying to raise awareness of the disappearance of former Dana Point resident Yvonne Baldelli.

Yuma woman starts fundraiser to push Panama authorities to find her missing sister

A Yuma woman is fighting to keep investigators and police digging to find out what happened to her sister, Yvonne Baldelli, who went missing in Panama around Thanksgiving 2011.

Last May, police declared Baldelli's case as murder.

The indictment also claims Brimager assaulted Baldelli multiple times shortly after the couple moved to Isla Carenero. The altercations led to bruising around Baldelli's eyes and on her arms.

The body of Yvonne Baldelli, who has been missing since November 2011, was found zippered inside a bag on the coastline of Isla Carenero on Aug. 20. DNA analysis was used on the skull and bones by forensic scientists in Panama to identify Baldelli’s body.

The show is absolutely heartbreaking. The sister has now died of cancer, the brother previously died of leukemia, and Yvonne murdered. The new wife and family are bankrolling the high-powered attorney. They make me ill.
