Patty Hearst was kidnapped by a previous unknown terrorist group - SLA. I think that this concept is reflected in SBTC. The film "Patty Hearst" was released in 1988. There is a strong cinematic influence on the crime. Political kidnappings are very rare in the USA.
There are traces of blood throughout the CS. But, there is not splatter nor a trail of blood, which is remarkable given the severity of the head wound. Perhaps the head blow was meant to show that JB had been knocked out in order to facilitate the final abuse? There had to be a reason in place why no one heard JB scream. If there weren't time to improve the staging, shouldn't it still be ideal to link the RN and WC. A problem with the R scenario, then and now, is that it offers no explanation of what went wrong with the 'abduction'. The motive of the FF is 118k. And then?
