You would have thought that they would have been more alert to the comings and goings out of that room if they did hear arguing and fighting. Joran was parading back and forth the next day, but Stephany was never seen again. I guess though with the change of shifts it is hard to track the hotel guests.
Good point about shift change! Maybe whoever was on duty when the arguing was going on had already left when he went to get coffee, came back, etc. I don't remember though hearing any more about the argument since some initial reports. MOO

Brilliant!~

I tell ya it gives me the creeps in the video shot of him in the limp wrist scene. You hear how people that are possesed change looks ect.. he looks so strange and even pale in that video....JMO

You would expect someone who had just killed someone to be shaking all over, wringing their hands, running their hands through their hair, shaking their head no, maybe punching the wall. Joran looks like he is in some sort of a trance. Except for that, he shows no visible sign of what occurred behind that door.

I assumed that Jean was a native speaker of Spanish but when she was knocking on the Wizard of Oz door asking to come in she didn't sound proficient. JMO.

Unbelievable, imo. This is a dirty prison cell with peeling paint and a hole in the floor for a bathroom. MOO

And, a cleaned up one for show for that matter. It was interesting tonight to see inside Castro Castro, but I have huge doubts that everyone is a happy camper in there and they are just one big happy family serving out their time at Club Pureed.

It was interesting to watch Mr. Mitchell's (the international lawyer) reaction, both on NG and later on Joy Behar, he was almost giggling at what he had seen on the videos since he had really been there. I agree with his statement that the prison, as Joran is now experiencing it, is creating a false sense of security and he's in for a huge shock should he be convicted.

I also wonder why many who have talked about it, are convinced he will be transferred to Lurigancho and not stay where he is (but be released into general population) to serve out his sentence or be assigned to another prison.

11 minutes to get coffee. With the stripe shirt. Does he really think Peru LE is stupid.

According to the hotel's web site, they catered to 'alternate lifestyles'. I'm guessing they were used to respecting their guest's privacy.

Classic psychopath - no emotional reaction. The video where he notices the camera gives me the creeps too, I think its because we witness his true self here, and what he has just done is written all over his face.

LOL I was trying to respond with that exact word earlier and I kept getting the Ooops page. I ditto that.

PS...if you use control and the + sign (continuously) it will enlarge the photo.

oh, thank you!
(I can't believe how excited I am!)

And even if they didn't have the videotape, what are the odds that someone else would enter the room, kill her and get away within that time frame? The "real killer" would have to be lurking in the hallway waiting for him to leave. And if there is blood on his striped shirt, how could he possibly explain that since he was wearing it while out getting the coffee? Talk about the world's dumbest criminals ~ Joran sure is one of them! MOO

I forgot all about that. I think that you might have posted that when this all first happened. The hotel actually doesn't look that seedy to me. The hallways seem to be freshly painted, the floors waxed to a shine. The bars on the windows are very off-putting however. I wonder if their purpose is to prevent people from jumping after they have lost heavily in the casinos.

Right, he just didn't think that he would be photographed either. What a loser!

I believe he was a serial killer in the making, stopped in his tracks. But also still wonder if there are others out there that we may never know about.

From this link:

A serial killer is a person who murders three or more people[1][2] over a period of more than thirty days, with a "cooling off" period between each murder, and whose motivation for killing is largely based on psychological gratification.

This is what popped into my head !!!

Bethany on the psychopath - who becomes the serial killer. (re-run from NG).

I haven't watched NG yet. I don't know if my stomach will take the hole in the ground toilet and her at the same time.
