How heartless can an "alien" be to CLEAN HIS SELF UP with her bloody dead body lying in the other room?
Then go get coffee and compose himself enough to pay for the room and put out a do not disturb sign???
Says to me, he has practised this a couple times before!!!

I just feel so awful for her family. Could you possibly imagine what they felt when they went and Googled his name?? That had to be a horrible feeling.
I hope that piece of garbage pays big time!

My heart breaks for them.

I read they were captured on video entering the hotel together as well as leaving the casino together.

and really what difference does it make? We know they were both in HIS room. She was alive when she entered and dead when he left.

GAME OVER for Joran
And no one else known to be entering the room after he left until her body was found. MOO

I hope i can forget about him, I don't want to be reminded of him and have to think about the horrible things that are happening to him.

premeditated??? weapon of choice a baseball bat?
When did he ever play a physical game like baseball?
His life in Aruba was drinking, gambling, sex (rape), videos...........
and parents said that was fine.
Wonder what mom thinks now of people saying JVS HATES women???
and why the RAGE

I just read an article today and remember it from the Natalee case, that he played tennis frequently, especially with his father. I wish I could remember where I read it, but it was stating how he was playing in a doubles tournament the night either of, before or after Natalee went missing, with his Dad. That immediately came to mind when they said they found a racquet in his room, that I guess is now really a bat.

I'm off to find the article.

ETA: quote and article

"The last time I spoke to his mother, she said he was in South America,'' Magda Frans, the secretary at the Aruba Racquet Club told The Miami Herald. ``Which part, she didn't know.''

Joran and his father, Paulus, often played doubles tennis at the club, she said.

The night before he was arrested for the first time in Holloway's disappearance, he played doubles tennis with his father in the Moet & Chandon Anniversary Cup tournament, Frans said.

``They lost,'' she said.

The match took place at 7:30 p.m. June 8, 2005. Some 10 hours later, Aruban police arrested him. The day was supposed to be memorable for other reasons -- he was supposed to graduate with honors that evening from the International School of Aruba.

It was a double blow to his mother, Anita, who taught at the school."

I just wonder if he took baseball bat from country to country........could it be a SICKsouvenir???
Will it show 'other' girls DNA on it also????

I hope i can forget about him, I don't want to be reminded of him and have to think about the horrible things that are happening to him.

What ??? The horrible thing about to happen to him is the reason I'm here! I am elated that it's going to be worse than *I* can even imagine for him!

Psychopaths usually adapt very easily here in the US to prison life.
That's not going to be the case for Jordan in Peru...and I am THRILLED at the thought!

Maybe a tennis racket was also found but it wasn't the murder weapon? :waitasec:

.........the 1st article that i read earlier, that referenced the "raquet" found in the room-----------was a "google" spanish to english instant translation of the news story.

..these translations are often very "loose" ---------quite unlike a spanish speaking person actually doing the translation to english.

.....the spanish to english dictionary:( as one choice as a noun).

bat-------raqueta

http://www.spanishdict.com/translation

..so,that would be how the word "racket" was used in the ( translated ) article, instead of "bat".

I wonder when he did that? He arrived on May 14, so a 14 day pre-pay would have ended May 28. Staff did not enter the room until June 1 or 2 (depending on which version). So did he pre-pay for 14 days on the 30th when he left, or when he got there in the first place?

I wish we could see the actual police reports and statements.

She was murdered on May 30, so it couldn't have been 14 days from when he arrived there, as (you pointed out) that would have only put it to May 28. I'm thinking it was before he left. People saw him leave. And although he left instructions for them not to go in his room, it makes sense that they would enter his room after the family and police realized she hadn't been kidnapped, but in fact was last seen with a man who had previously been suspected of murdering a young woman.

I don't want to know what happens to him. I think its going to be worse than a normal person can deal with.

As far as the bat I would think you could take that into a foreign country and it would not be considered a weapon. Rather than a gun or knife.

from Stephany's father interview:

- Stephany's jeep was found on Monday

- Stephany's mother last saw her on Saturday around 4 pm

- Stephany's dad talked to Stephany on the phone Saturday at 9:49 pm, she was with her friends in Barranco

- Whenever Stephany went to a friend's house or to the beach, they always kept in touch by cellphone.

- They lost contact with her on Sunday, and what worried them the most was that her cellphone was "on" Sunday and also Monday.

- LE found her car opened, and thanks to vehicle documents they found out her address, and went to her home. Father immediately went over where the car was found. All her stuff was inside the car.

- Parents only found out about her being at the Atlantic City Casino AFTER the investigation started. Her mom calls a friend of Stephany's (that lives closeby), and that's how they put all the pieces together about her whereabouts during that weekend.

- Stephany drops off one of her friends in Andres Reyes, San Isidro, and said she was going back home.

- Instead Stephany goes back to the casino arriving at 2:56 am; Joran arrives at 2:01 am. They leave the casino together at 5:16 am.

- LE has video that captured her car going from Av. Benavides (where casino is located), towards the Express Way (Via Expresa).

- Father says he had a very good relationship with his daughter, his only daughter :(

I've read every link and haven't seen hallway cameras mentioned. Or any video of Joran and the victim in the hotel. Just a human witness (employee).

I either read or heard just today about there being surviellance cameras in the hallway to room 309. I've done a short search and can't find it but I'll keep searching. I'm thinking it might have been Phil Keating doing a tour of the hotel. At any rate, I'm sure I heard it.

ITA, USA prisons have more luxuries than needed..............glad peru keeps animals like him treated as animals.
IMO, JVS was in a country and knew what it was like there, so he has to pay!
JVS is NOT in Aruba anymore!
I'll never forget him taking a spoiled brat fit and throwing a drink on reporter?
lawyer? during the Natalee conference.............

Well then, it should bring you some comfort to know that he's NOT normal!

Thanks so much! I didn't have a chjance yet to read the article and probably would've caught that if I had. I did notice the translations are not exact, especially the way Joe Tacopina's name got "translated"!

I also remember that he played tennis in high school.

No, he is not normal. I think he deserves whatever happens to him.

I hope he survives to do his entire 35 years! And in the mean time, Natalee's remains are found, and witnesses come forward...and then Aruba can have him for the next 25!
