I can tell you if the truth about LE knowing where Stacy Peterson's body is at is true, and they do find her tommorrow, and with all of this going on with this case, On Monday night NG head will spin right off her shoulders.

Just wanted to make sure everyone here is alerted..........Greta Van Susteran is going to present a special Saturday night edition of "On The Record" devoted to this case.

I've been watching Fox News and they've been advertising the On The Record special edition all evening into the wee hours of the morning. :)

.......excellent...thanks leila!

just wanted to mention that in these hotel pics of Joran, his hair is dark-he must have dyed it red (or bleached) in the hotel room-how very Scott Peterson of him, and very OJ of him to flee. Hell is waiting.

Here is a full, non-googled, non-babblefished translation of the 20/20 video. These are the words of the female reporter you hear in the video:

***************

"In the first image a seated woman who seems to be protecting herself from the cold is observing van der Sloot requesting his key from the consierge, who approaches to take care of him.

In the second image van der Sloot waits and it is possible to see that behind the door someone is accompanying him.

In the third image the hotel employee appears to be verifying whether there is a message for the dutch man, while his companion remains behind the door.

In the next image the dutch man enters the central hallway of the hotel and Stephanie Flores, who has gathered her hair in a bun, appears behind him. It is the last image of the race car driver Ricardo Flores' daughter.

Three days later, an employee of the hotel, Adelia Abad Rochena, received a call for room 309, where Joran van der Sloot was staying. Then she transferred the call but since nobody was answering, the call returned to the phone central. Forty minutes later, the employee found out that van der Sloot owed 2 days of rent. She then went upstairs to the room, knocked on the door, and heard that the television was on.

It was also established that the night prior to her death Stephanie had won 5,000 dollars FROM THIS FOREIGNER in a poker game. Fact that he had denied. "

***********************

I thought it was worth taking the time to translate it correctly. I don't think I'd join a man in his hotel room to celebrate the fact that I just won 5,000 FROM HIM. (My instinct would have been screaming "DANGER"). I thought it strange that "3 days later" the employee went to the hotel room to collect past due rent, finding the TV on. I thought Stephanie was found the day immediately AFTER the night at the casino?

Thanks Mohabi, First time I have heard that she won the money from him.

Yeah you know how this goes... I was trying to find news about the case on CNN and finally had to smack my head when I remembered that Websleuth's is the best source of information :) I'm coming in late on this, as usual, and will have to do a lot of reading to be "up to date" so to speak. I'm specially interested in finding all those Spanish links everybody seems to have Googled, so I can maybe straighten out some of the translation whoopers.

Someone had posted that the Peruvian "slang" words were foreign to her (I believe the poster learned Spanish in Mexico). Well, the reporter actually used NO slang at all. She spoke a very understandable, clear and slang-less Spanish.

If anyone needs something specific translated, give me a holler.

I don't think it's the actual room. Or if it is the room, then not their actual belongings and stuff. Wouldn't it be collected and bagged for testing, etc. before they let the news media in to trample all over the place? Maybe it's the actual crime photos? Shoot, I dunno. :waitasec: They do things much differently there, as we're finding out.

It states under the photo of the room that this is the room. I added the English translation of the words under the photo.

I am listening to this new VIDEO clip, and the reporter is mentioning "raqueta" as the attack weapon, so I'm pretty certain he means tennis racket, which belongs to Joran.

Also statements from Elton Garcia (35), Albanian native, naturalized Uruguayan. He was asked to confirm if Stephany won $5,000 from him; he said Stephany won S/. 2,000 (two thousand Soles not Dollars) in early May.

Mohabi... you're a Godsend! :blowkiss: Thanks so much.

WOW! If thats true (and it should be pretty easy to verify) it provides mega motive(s).

Thanks for the translation!
If that is the same video I looked at last night, I think that guy at the end walking away from the reporters is NOT JVS.

I believe the 3 days is right. They both were at the casino Sat night, then at the hotel early Sun morning but the body was not discovered until Wed.

More from that VIDEO clip I posted above:

According to immigration papers, Garcia had visited Peru on many occasions since 2008. He stayed from 3 days to 2 weeks. He arrived last April 29, as a tourist, and he registered for the International Poker Tournament as Uruguayan, as it is shown on PeruPoker.net.

A few hours earlier, Stephany's father also made declarations to the DIRITRI, this was his first encounter with "homicide personnel". He says he had no idea Stephany's money and jewelry had been stolen, because until then he had only had contact with "kidnapping officers"
