Thank you for this video...it proves yet again the inconsistencies in reporting...blood all over the room...where!!?!!
 
i have cnn breaking news on my cell phone and it just sent an email

"authorities say suspect joran van der sloot has confessed to the murder of a Peruvian woman. "
 
Correct me if I am wrong, but in one of the past threads - wasn't it reported that a friend of Stephany said she knew who JVS was and his connection to NH? I thought I read that somewhere?

Just had to say that from my mind came the very same thought. And add to his behavior the fact that Valentjin (sp?) looks so much like Joran. Makes me shudder. Why are these brothers allowed to pretty much do whatever they want?? Is is the culture difference, or is the fact that they seem to have no restrictions considered permissive even in the Netherlands?

The confession is an attempt to take back control. JMHO.

He accidently (minimizes his responsibility for his actions) and lost his temper and broke her neck because SHE TOUCHED his computer (places the blame back onto the victim).

IMHO this is more than likely a blatant lie. Just like all of the blantant lies he has told about the other murder he commited. He just wants control back. JMHO.

If that is the case, it leads me to question much of the information leaked and reported. I'm already doubting Peru's competency in the forensics department.

Also, the girl in the video seems noticeably heavier than Stephany.

Other posters suggesting this might not be an actual video of the crime scene but a reenactment.
 
Thanks to everyone for the enlightening posts tonight. I am going to bed, hoping to be able to fall asleep as hearing such unexpected news of the confession!! Good night to all.
 
Peter DeVries also wrote something very interesting on his blog. He wrote that he expected something like this to happen. Then referring to the wine throwing incident, he wrote that he often wondered what might have also happened if Joran had something else at his disposal other than a wine glass, because he felt Joran had no anger or impulse control.
 
I just checked - FOX, CNN, MSNBC are all reporting. I didn't find anything - yet - from the AP and Reuters doesn't really "do" crime reporting.

The more I think about it - that could be a re-enactment. I didn't see any blood anywhere. And I thought we heard tonight that the police report said he knees were pulled up closer to her chest?
 
Can we believe any part of Joran's confession as to the real reason he murdered Stephany? Look at all the lies and different stories he told about how Natalie Holloway died. I think his story of her "intruding" into his personal life by looking at his computer fits with his hatred of women. He gets to blame the victim for her own murder. Absolutely disgusting!!!

Body shape doesn't match...and I thought it was reported top of her feet were bruised - doesn't seem so in video. I'm going with re-enactment.
